Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

Saw something on the interweb today…wish I’d of saved it…went something like this.

In answer to a question, “is political violence ever justified?”

*Baby Boomers - NO…by over 80-90%
Gen X - NO…by over 70-80%
Gen Z-NO…just a little under 50% *

*DO NOT quote me on the actual numbers…these were close approximations of what I remember. *.

The point being, and it ties in with Icanhelp’s point upstream, we have a generational problem. There is a group that is very very different in how they see the world. How they deal with the world and their problems.

It’s glaring really…

Oh, and because it royally chaps the asses of every tiny turd/pussy/cunt/Libturd here, guess who made it to 80K reactions????

You lot will all be long dead before you see that number in your stats as anything besides a post count.

“By age 16, Booth was interested in the theater and in politics, and he became a delegate from Bel Air to a rally by the Know Nothing Party for Henry Winter Davis, the anti-immigrant party's candidate for Congress in the 1854 elections.“ Wiki

“Lee Harvey Oswald was not a Democrat; he was a Marxist and communist who had defected to the Soviet Union and later expressed support for pro-Castro Cuban groups, identifying with socialist and communist ideologies rather than those of the American Democratic Party.” AI

“ He was a convicted criminal and a white supremacist who assassinated the civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in 1968. His motivation for the assassination was rooted in his racial hatred, and he acted alone in carrying out the murder.

Criminal History:
Ray had a history of criminal activity, including burglary and armed robbery, before escaping from prison in 1967.“ AI

Wouldn’t have been a registered voter as a criminal.

Your first three claims don’t appear to hold water, and the conferacy was formed by southern states succeeding.

As a patriot you’d think you’d have a better knowledge of the country you profess to love.

James Earl Ray wanted to be famous. He wanted publicity. He thought MLK was his simplest way to that. Ray never said anything was racist in the motivation. The media did.
And while you bring up MLK, I hope it is not to equate him in any way to Charlie. MLK may have been a minister, but he was more of an abusive womanizer.

There is something wrong with the whole Charlie narrative. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Most likely, it is because it is a narrative….

Just watching the freak show. It's plenty freaky.
True enough.

I was reading through the capital punishment laws for Utah. The soon to be decedent gets to choose between lethal injection or the firing squad. If the soon to be decedent refuses to make a choice, lethal injection it is UNLESS the drugs for lethal injection are not available and in that case it's back to the firing squad.

Which leads me to this black comedy scenario.

Robinson chooses lethal injection.

"Mr Robinson, I have some good news and bad news. The bad news is that the state has been unable to obtain the drugs for lethal injection."

"So what's the good news?"

"We're going to use your grandfather's rifle."

I was thinking that the firing squad was still a choice there: Gary Gilmore.

And what with the trouble of getting Kinder/Gentler lethal injection drugs . . . .

Why lookee that, Uncle Sam wants y'all to prep up.

Modern life is dangerous. Rampaging bears are not the ubiquitous concern as was perhaps once the case. However, stuff like wildfires, hurricanes, floods, and ice storms are perennial crowd pleasers. Mother Nature is not your friend or your benefactor. She is a cold-hearted mass murderer who would just as soon wipe us all out as keep us warm and comfortable.

In keeping with that mantra, the Department of Homeland Security sponsors Ready.gov. There is a huge billboard located on a highway a few miles from where I live, advertising it. With this as impetus, I retired to my laptop to see what all the fuss was about.
