Wat’s Carbon Water-N-Stuff Thread - Concepts In Iron And Wood!!!

You’re taking what I said out of contest again, but we’ll overlook that. You’ve repeated it twice so there’s really no point going forward.

I do congratulate you for being the first of the Radicalized to bring mental illness into the conversation. Our definitions will differ in this context, but as others have pointed out…my guns have never, not once, shot me or any person.

The mentally ill, and your side have a HUGE hand in their illness, are unfortunately 6 for 6 in the high profile assassinations.
The context we are considering here involves acts of political violence in a democratically based nation. In that context, mental illness includes anyone who believes that killing someone for political reasons is justifiable.

Those mentally ill people should not be allowed to possess guns. I believe that anyone threatening homicide in social media should be flagged, reported to law enforcement, and immediately removed from the social media platform. If a media platform owner repeatedly does not comply with this requirement, that media platform should be shut down.

As for other forms of mental illness that do not involve homicidal or suicidal tendencies, they are not relevant to this particular discussion. Your opinions about the sanity of Democrats are no more valid than opinions about the sanity of Republicans. Violent people are not representative of the overwhelming majority of Democrats and Republicans who play by the rules.

Recent political violence has been aimed at members of both political parties, not just at Republicans. President Trump, Charlie Kirk, the Hortmans & Hoffmans in Minnesota, the Pelosis, Mike Pence, and Governor Shapiro are some examples of the high-profile targets.

“Greater in battle than the man who would conquer a thousand-thousand men, is he who would conquer just one — himself. Better to conquer yourself than others. When you've trained yourself, living in constant self-control, neither a deva nor gandhabba, nor a Mara banded with Brahmas, could turn that triumph back into defeat.”

And here you are leaving out the political ideology of those who did it in your efforts to claim "both sides." (Where's that meme by BSG?)

So I should assume you've concluded that all political violence is promoted and executed by Democrats?

Every time there is a politically motivated shooting (edit: or school shooting), I visit this thread to see when the last Wat_Tyler shitpost was made.

Very few people can be as saintly as we are.

Saintly? Me?

You probably have me confused with someone else who is not as handsome and debonair as yours truly. Not to mention how connected I am with a certain personage who has a, shall we say, sulphuric personality. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Yes, you’re exactly right, it’s hard to behave when you’re just this goddamn good looking. But I digress.

I seem to admit my own sulphurous fumes from time to time. Yet it is nothing short of amazing who and how many will stop and talk to me. Honestly, it continues to surprise me. But I’m not complaining….

It's not just the good looks and manners. Someone has to keep reminding Mary Poppins that, even if she's as practically perfect as she claims to be, she's never going to be more than 2nd best.

“Now, Kalamas, don’t go by reports, by legends, by traditions, by scripture, by logical conjecture, by inference, by analogies, by agreement through pondering views, by probability, or by the thought, ‘This contemplative is our teacher.’ When you know for yourselves that, ‘These qualities are skillful; these qualities are blameless; these qualities are praised by the wise; these qualities, when adopted & carried out, lead to welfare & to happiness’ — then you should enter & remain in them.

~ Gautama Buddha

“It is like a lighted torch whose flame can be distributed to ever so many other torches which people may bring along; and therewith they will cook food and dispel darkness, while the original torch itself remains burning ever the same. It is even so with the bliss of the Way.”

~ Buddha Siddhartha Guatama Shakyamuni, The Sutra Of The Forty-Two Sections

"Not everybody is comfortable with the idea that politics is a guilty addiction. But it is. They are addicts, and they are guilty and they do lie and cheat and steal — like all junkies. And when they get in a frenzy, they will sacrifice anything and anybody to feed their cruel and stupid habit, and there is no cure for it."

~ Hunter S. Thompson

When lit readers gobble up Laz’s preambles which are echoed throughout the leftist Lit culture, represents a macrocosm of similar hate reverberated country wide no one should be surprised. I find it hypocritical that those on the left are so willing to place blame on an inanimate object in a veiled attempt to deflect from the responsibility of their own complicity in political violence.

It shouldn’t be a surprise that the constant drumbeat of comparing political figures to nazis, fascist, homophobes, anti-trans, racist, anti-democracy, pedo, misogynists, anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist, MAGATS, with delusional dystopian fervor, continuously echoing these rants day in and day out, amplified by a complicit media shouldn’t surprise anyone that some easily indoctrinated, mentally unstable radicalized zealot will ultimately takes these rants as a subliminal order to duty.

Guns and knives are only a mechanism to accomplish a hateful act with, doing it with pride believing in their dark heart they saved the world or satisfied their brand of vengeance. in many cases terminating their own lives. It’s nearly impossible to forecast the actions of an individual who has sunk to such a deep depression and self loathing.

Firearms aren’t the issue. This culture didn’t exist during my youth. Something has drastically changed in the last 25 years. We all know what is is and it starts with the destruction of the nuclear family and exposure to the internet. The reason I believe that is because the majority of these heinous acts are conducted by easily influenced young people. When people are indoctrinated into believing they’re the center of the universe they come to believe their individual actions will make them famous and their delusions can change the world.

IMHO

More than just that.

Today's youth.

Is there any claim made by Maga folk that actually bears scrutiny, no wonder they disappear when asked to clarify or cite.

That's not the point. Two wrongs don't make a right. That being said at the time of the heinous murders of the Hortmans his political affiliation was blurred. He had anti-Trump flyers in his vehicle.

The obvious difference was there was universal condemnation on both sides of the isle. You didn't see nation wide jubilation or twitter feeds by conservatives voicing the opinion that they deserved to die. Vance Boelter is where he belongs in prison.

People cheering Luigi Mangione is insane. They're cheering on a murderer.
