*gets up on soapbox*Maybe pornhub has warped his opinion of what asmr is meant to be, or maybe he expected Kit to post 26 minutes of orgasmic moans to lul him to sleep (which might be the same thing as before), who knows?
It is Kits thread after all, she can post whatever she feels comfortable with doing.
(I wish I could be more articulate on the subject but I might not have slept at all in about 29 hours)
Watch this I'll wake up and Kit will have decided she wants to keep him as a fan and will have made a lesbian phone sex ASMR with Bean (I might be dreaming while I'm awake here)
ASMR has gotten a "bad" name or rather...been driven through the red light district against its will more and more. Its not intended to be sexual at all, but of course, many of the more popular ASMR artists are created by rather attractive women, and of course, having an attractive woman whisper to you, can seem erotic to some. There are also some attractive men but admittedly they are generally not half as popular.
I tend to listen to ASMR and not watch the videos, so the audio remains most important to me and it doesnt matter if I find the person attractive, but if they have a nice voice, use the right props and triggers for me, then it works very well.
That said, as SpicyBean was mentioning, its designed to basically make the tiny hairs on the back of your neck stand up, to make your spine tingle, your scalp tingle...the same feelings you may get when something...perhaps a song is a good example...just sort of...reaches deep down your throat to your soul and makes you feel bliss, harmony, the chills. And I dont mean...shiiiit, Lenny Kravitz is fuckin ROCKIN' the guitar on Are you gonna go my way...its just a feeling, it completely takes over your body but usually only for like 5 seconds.
For me, mic brushing works well usually and so I search for mic brushing by some ASMR artists.
Anyway, the porn industry has jumped on the ASMR bandwagon after it started to take off about 6-8 yrs ago or something and tried to create the tingles...but not on your scalp but in your pants haha...but obviously its jsut a different type of way of turning people on...but it makes ASMR look "bad" if you ask me. Kind of like how "happy ending massages" are different than professional massages and so I am sure every masseuse gets the question "do you do happy endings?!" type of bullshit which I am sure theyd looooove to distance themselves from in many cases or just get tired of being asked.
