Which movie have you seen the most times?

First off I'm a dude.

My feminine side of my brain:
Untamed Heart
Some Kind of Wonderful
Family Man
She's All That

My questionable side of my brain:
A Few Good Men
Hunt For Red October
Fast Times at Ridgemont High
(shhhh) Rocky Horror Picture Show

I'm positive there are many more......

Untamed Heart is so wonderfully sad.

Hmmm, pretty sure the original Matrix would be my most watched, followed in no order by,
Rocky Horror
Me and Earl and the dying Girl
Grave of the Fireflies
and a bunch of the Star Trek NG fits in there too

I tend to agree. For me, that's Kubrick's 2001, which I've seen at least fifteen times in a cinema, but only once on the giant curved screen, 70mm projection, for which it was designed. I first saw the movie aged twelve, and knew that it was different to anything that had gone before. And for a very, very long time, different to anything that followed. Best movie, ever, for me.

Kubrick being the master of promotion, tagged the tenth anniversary release (the version I saw on the curved screen): "Before Star Wars there was, and always will be, 2001: A Space Odyssey."

As a teen, a mate and I used to go to the local uni's Sunday night film club, where every week for five or six years we saturated ourselves in the classics of world cinema. Our parents took turns driving us there, every week. That's a lot of cinema's absolute best.

One of my very absolute favourites is a little known Bergman movie, My Summer with Monika, about a teenage boy meeting Monika, one summer on a beach. Made in 1953. A beautiful, gentle story, it's possibly the genesis of my erotic nostalgia writing.
My Summer With Monika is a truly fabulous film. Very hot too.

I imagine you’ll be aware of this but it was a real influence on the French new wave boys. I believe Truffaut even has a moment in The 400 Blows when his main character steals a promo photo of Monika from the entrance to a cinema.

I'm not one to revisit movies even if I like them. My most-viewed movies are probably from my childhood when network television replayed some movies at least once a year: Heidi, The Wizard of Oz, It's a Wonderful Life, etc. Those are probably my most-viewed movies.

Outlaw Josey Wells, Matrix, Underworld, Arrival, and several rom com movies (I am a sucker for that shit), Definitely Maybe, and Love, Actually.

Interstellar
Pacific Rim (2012)

And I don't know if it counts, but I'll say it anyway, Foundation (Apple series).
I'm clearly a sci-fi nerd at this point smh

I've rewatched the Netflix short seties Midnight Mass and The Haunting of Bly Manor each about 5 times, and they've both got about an 8 hour run time. It'll be harder to get those up to the same number of rewatches as something with a runtime of 80-100 minutes, but I'll try

The series Dark (2017)

It's an outstanding Thriller/Mystery/SF. I remember being annoyed with the last season and how they wrapped it all up. There's a Deus Ex Machina I didn't like. But put in perspective, I realize what a unique gem that show was, and how much it stands above anything that has been made since.

Both Slater and Tomei played outstanding roles, down to earth and innocent. She has always been at the top of my list for many years. Wish she was in more stuff these days.

He was one of my mom's teen heart throbs, he was also really good in Bed of Roses.

And completely agree about Tomei. She has so much more range than you would think at first.

Big Fish: because I love the story
Animal House: that's my music, and some of it is too close to some guys I knew in college

Well okay if we’re doing series then the 1996 bbc series of pride and prejudice. I think it’s six parts , features Colin firth. Nuff said

https://forum.literotica.com/threads/could-anyone-make-of-story-out-of-this.1640790 reminded me that for some movies, I'm getting close -- well, not that close, but I reckon Ive seen one or two movies more than 100 times.

When I was kid, I saw 2001 - A Space Odyssey at the cinima (Cinerama) 8 times in the year it came out.

Marx Brothers - Night at the Opera (I've watched it at least twice a year since I was a kid, and many times with my kids)

It Happened One Night

And Ive already seen Dune about 20 times, and Back To The Future even more than that.

In fact, nearly every movie Ive really enjoyed, I'll watch at least ten times.

And don't get me started on the number of times I've re-read certain books!
You might be a good match for that woman on the other thread who has seen Titanic 500 times. That sounds like some kind of North Korean brainwashing technique to create another Manchurian Candidate.
