The motorcycle was kind of a setup...it was an old English bike and I intentionally wound it up in third gear, which, I had been told, has a tendency to set up sympathetic vibrations with female passenger...

That sexual passion is huge! It isn't just sex. The feelings you achieve when you stare into her eyes as her body succumbs to her orgasm. So utterly amazing...knowing I did that for her...to her.
 
I'd like to plant a question in the conversation, but first I have to admit I haven't read all 50 pages. If it's been asked and answered my apologies.

While I understand the whole "build slowly and create something meaningful" approach, but I have to say that in my non-Lit online experience, some of the hottest encounters have been relatively spontaneous resulting from a chance meeting of two people who just really, really, really need to get laid. Isn't that a thing anymore?

I think that's a very valid question and sometimes possibly true in the situation. However, if I'm going to go that route and do the things that it needs to do to get someone off, I definitely don't know that I would be comfortable with that on the first time chat. But that's just me personally

I certainly did not mean to imply moving THAT quickly. Rather, I'm talking more about a kind of connection that reveals itself early on. That kind of thing where you find yourself saying, "yeah, that's what I'm talking about" or "wow, she seems to get me and I definitely get her." It's usually not a single conversation, or if it is, it's not a short one. My point simply is that sometimes lightning strikes and strikes quickly.

It is still a thing I am sure.
I think there are better sites out there for that "fuck me right now" need and Lit is more conducive to longer relationships.

I have had both types here. Some hot and heavy right at the start and abruptly end,
Some hot and heavy right at the start and are still on-going,

Some that have started very slowly then get hot and heavy and some that have started slowly and have not gotten to the steamy stuff and may never get to the steamy stuff.

Something I have learned in this thread is to let the other person set the pace.
