It’s been easier to find videos of Kirk’s assassination today. It looks like the shot hit him in the chest, ricocheted off his bullet-proof vest, and struck him in the throat.

I haven't seen those videos today but I have seen videos of Kirk through the years and man he was just a charlatan salesman. He was selling hate to a bunch of America-hating dumbasses who lapped it up.

Oh, most Americans know there was yet another act of political violence. The folks on the fringes of society are speculating about conspiracies and whipping up civil war talk again.

It's best to chill out such talk, not feed the resentment hysteria, and stay focused on the principle that that political violence is not acceptable, no matter if it is directed at Democrats or Republicans.

I don't disagree with you much, and I am not now, but...
Having conversations with a friend, we used ourselves as an example to have the larger argument about Kirk's killing and what would happen if we knew beforehand of our deaths - would there be regrets worthy of honest apologies given? I say no.
Just look around us. These so called alphas quickly will turn in the blink of an eye to victimization. No, I believe the incoming potential of martyrdom wealth to what remains of TP,USA will be enough to prevent anyone associated admitting that a con has occurred.

I don't doubt that some really are true believers of the right-wing hate espoused by Kirk. But the guy was 31 and had been doing this for 10 years starting in college. A 21 year old doesn't have the world figured out let alone his own politics. He just saw how his sales pitch was drawing attention and eventually money. And he kept going. He was a narcissist who fed off the notoriety and the dollars of idiots.
