I'd be willing to bet that those "UK non-political social pages" did indeed know who he was. Just as your Nigel Farage is known here in the US, Kirk was known around the world to those who wished for more peace and enlightenment among the people. He had a huge fan base among those in all walks of life across the world. I suspect that it is only those who live with self-imposed blinders as they go about their narrow existence staring at their phone and posting on social media who were unaware of him.

Nigel Farage is the leader of Britain's 3rd biggest political party (we don't have a 2 party system), and a huge Trump fan. So it's no surprise that 70 odd million Americans might be aware of him. The majority still won't have a clue.

I'm really surprised at how many Americans didn't know of him. His name is frequently mentioned in connection to maga and trump on various mainstream news media but it is true that youtube podcasts and social media covered him more, from varying points of view.

Coming from the UK I’ve seen comparisons with Nigel Farage , incidentally if you ask a well known AI platform it also gives similarities with Farage.
