Charlie Kirk shot at Utah event, suspect in custody

Charlie Kirk was a modern day MLK. Just like MLK, Kirk rallied the people with a popular message of peace and enlightenment.

😲 Arpy obviously posted the above to troll the libs. Too bad the "lawyer" forgot about the search function:

MLK was a rorbag Alt before there were such things.

Yes he was [wrong to pratice civil disobedience]. From a purely legal standpoint Ghandi is guilty of committing a second wrong and should not be praised for it. Nor should MLK or any of the civil rights protestors.

Oops. 😎 :nana:

More political assassinations happened in the 1960s, plus lynchings. Cars were unsafe, gasoline was leaded, homes had lead paint and asbestos, etc. Now we have more safety features on consumer items, but people are more miserable, and that is sometimes expressed in bullets. And hard drugs with a possibility of immediate death with overdose. One of the factors of the past few decades is the increasing failure of education. Kids don't learn how to think in our schools. They learn how to obey, memorize, and parrot the party line of whatever the school pushes. They finish school unprepared for adult life.

Why do I have this sick feeling, a belief that this is a warning shot from the left, threatening us on the right to sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up or your next?

We'll see where the evidence takes us.
As opposed to the masked officers who don’t respect constitutional rights?

As an outsider (Irish parents, born and raised in England), the "gun culture" in America is completely alien to me. What possible genuine reason is there for members of the general public to need to possess firearms? And not just firearms, weapons of war. The sort of guns Americans can own aren't just hunting rifles and sports shooting guns, they're designed to kill multiple people in a short space of time. Yesterday was yet another tragic event that seems to happen in a daily basis in America.

Because this is ‘’Merica where the second amendment is absolute. The others ones, maybe not.

Obama got a lot of flack for saying people cling to guns and religion because good factory jobs are gone and their lives suck...but he was right.

Aah...now I remember the user who is skybubble. Took quite a few posts to see patterns.

Since you went to one of the best colleges in the country, surely you understand saying it does not make it so.
And everyone here knows you're not sorry at all.
Has he actually said which esteemed University it was yet?
My money is on The University of Spotwelders & Cattle Management, Fort Laramie (Wyoming), they revolutionised how to brand a cow, but equally he could be keeping it under wraps because it was Yale and it is just not a good time to own up.
The suspense is killing me.

Our nation was founded by people who had their own guns and used them to fight tyranny. They had ordinary muskets and rifles, used more for hunting than for killing people, but hunting is less common now.

We used to send small children up chimneys, and have them crawl under machinery in factories to clear out debris.
Funny how times change.

OneEye? You and I both know history. This person doesn’t and that’s why he’s misinformed. America was formed by the stealing of land and built on slave labor enabled by white Europeans having the technological luxury of a gun over arrows and spears.

Remember how the MAGAts reacted to the attempted assassination of Nancy Pelosi, with the attack on her husband with a hammer? Horrific lies about a gay lover's tiff.

Remember how MAGAts reacted to the assassinations of Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark, their dog Gilbert and another lawmaker John Hortman? Trump couldn't bring himself to utter their names and when challenged to say something he refused saying that it would be a waste of his time.

Keep your shit to yourself about the left being abhorrent for quoting Kirk's messages of hatred back at his corpse.

So the gun isn't the killer. Glad you got that straight in your head. :)
So why do the 'good guys' need a gun? Seems like a needless expense if you can just as easily kill people with your bare hands.

Could we perhaps agree the assassin with a high powered rifle was in this case, tragically, a marriage made in heaven.
Whilst the 'assassin' without a rifle would have just been a wannabe with punctuation marks and the unfortunate victim would most likely be at home now with his wife and children, where he should be.

No. We don't agree. You can kill a person with a #2 lead pencil, if so inclined to do so. :)

So it's payback. Fuck you. :)
