the last couple of weeks worth of commuting has been relatively tragedy free. The last person I saw keel over from an overdose was actually in my supermarket was about a month ago.
I have been getting more people begging than usual and it's coming from people who do not look homeless or destitute but rather "normal looking' people. You get followed around now. People will follow you around asking for money in stores and restaurants.
Last September someone tried stealing my cell phone from me waiting for the 7 train. Said he could kill me and the cops would do nothing about it. after he spat on me because I wouldn't give him my phone I did punch him in the face, ran off when I went to repeat myself. hit my fist on the wall and bloodied it the second time.
imagine if he had a gun!
I have to do some studio grunt work today and i'm contemplating spending the 50 bucks on a Lyft just to avoid the fucking subway.

because he murdered his 15th in cold blood on camera while saying "he got the white girl".

It's because there's a prosecutorial record of his crimes. He served 8 years in prison for another crime.
