Serendipity

I’ve always enjoyed and preferred erotic stories that were rooted in unexpected encounters. Penthouse devoted a section of their “forum” stories to this topic and called it “Serendipity.”

I’ve often wondered why literotica has never devoted a section to this topic.

Can you recommend any stories like this?

I am okay reading many areas in which this occurs, from romance, to loving wives, to even incest stories.

Thanks. Chance encounter is probably an oversimplification. It can be a couple that isn’t a couple that through circumstance ventures into a sexual encounter.

Some of my favorites over the years have been long car rides or party encounters.

It’s hard to describe, but serendipity seems to cover it.

Thank you! I wrote the whole story in less than a day, and afterwards didn't feel the fondness that I normally have for my stories. But I've reread it since, and Jessica/Yuliya has become one of my favourite characters.

I really enjoyed this recent story by @Arcadia in Romance.

One of my own in Lesbian is "What a difference a day makes" that very much opens with a chance encounter and goes from there.

Lots of stories by @PennyThompson involve serendipitous inciting incidents. If you don't mind Non-Human, try "Mothman is real" by her.

Fun fact: did you know that the word serendipity comes from the old name for the island state of Sri Lanka? In Persian, the island was known as Serendip, and early European visitors found the whole island so delightful and full of pleasant surprises that they coined the adjective to describe pleasant accidents.
