Yes I have done this many times, it feels good having the string rub on your clit and it's low effort because you can walk like that while it rides up and down. The friction is not great if you wear it like for too long though. I've also had men tell me they liked it when I did that because it looked good hidden between my lips and as for other lingerie, I put a lace body suit on backwards and it was much sexier that way because it allowed my breasts to hang our the centre strap.
