The primary sticking point is Netanyahu & the radical right wing cabal, and their own less than stellar record…The "left" has just enough “whataboutism ammunition” (thanks to Netanyahu & the radical right wing cabal) to keep their assault on Israel going.

I actually kinda get where they’re coming from, but the alternative (conceding / capitulating to Hamas’ demands is completely unacceptable. Just like conceding / capitulating to Russia’s demands involving Ukraine, or China’s demands involving Taiwan, etc, is unacceptable (ironically, DonOld is giving Russia & China, etc, “whataboutism ammunition” with his heinous behavior).



I would also submit that the "Palestinians", etc, OBVIOUSLY hated Israel / Jews BEFORE the 10/7 Hamas rape, torture, murder, and kidnapping operation, so I suspect, AFTER what Israel has done to them since the 10/7 Hamas rape, torture, murder and kidnapping operation, they are NOT going to suddenly embrace a lasting peace if they were to: get their own state; secure the release of all their imprisoned fighters (terrorists), and construct a traditional military fighting force (A nation state has the right to have an army, an Airforce, a Navy, and even a "Spaceforce", no???).



Can you imagine a day after (after 10/7, Israel’s retaliation, etc) where a Hamas controlled “State of Gaza” is allowed to comprehensively manifest itself on Israel’s west flank, while at the same time, the “State of the West Bank” (also controlled by Hamas???) is allowed to comprehensively manifest on Israel’s east flank???



Yeah, I believe we’re waaaaay past seriously considering a “two state solution” at this stage of the game.
