The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

Okay, so today I feel greatfull because I have air in my lungs, no aches and pains, still feel strong and energetic, I woke up with some "naughtiness" in my pants like every other day and I'm just happy that everything still seems to work as it should.

May you all have a fantastic day
Sounds like a good day to me!!

Yes, it was, but it's a few years old... as of late, there's been so much humidity on the horizon that I don't get a lot of nice sunsets/sunrises.
They are one of my favorite "benefits" of working at sea.
Nice, what do you do at sea?
Before COVID my daughter worked on the Disney Cruise Lines and her last two contracts were on Semester at Sea.
She saw the world and got paid for it.

I work in the offshore oil industry on an OSV (offshore supply vessel) as a chief engineer... AKA, I'm an "oilfield prostitute."
I've also worked on Saturation Dive Boats, which is a different kind of stress level, having 4 souls "in the can" for well over a month at a time.

I bet your daughter has some good memories of that time frame!

Nice, when I was younger I contemplated working in the offshore oil industry, specifically on the oil rigs but my parents could not afford everything I needed to get there.

Yes, she has very fond memories and millions of photos. She really enjoyed it.

I was fortunate to have worked a season in Alaska.
It was stunningly beautiful.
If I'd gone up there as a young man, I'd have never come back! 🤣

Well, yes and no.
From a company perspective we only take cases where we know we can make a fair amount of money. I work for a consultancy, not an in-house unit. However, once we take on the case it is assigned to an investigators with the correct skill set, and it also depends on my current work load. I can volunteer for a case though and sometimes a client will ask for a specific investigator based on previous good work done.
Hope this answers your question?

What case do you have?
I'll try to formulate a response, as it's been a very brutal and lengthy case of corruption, perjury, and abuse...
I'll DM you some details when I get them together...

Happy Thursday!!! Came down with something flu-like yesterday. Basically, I feel like shit. So I scrambled to get someone to cover the job and I'm going home and going to bed. I would have left last night but that wasn't in the cards.

August flu. Who knew???
Feel better Brother... I hope and pray 🙏 it's not like the flu that ran through my boat in Jan-Feb....
