I've definitely got one that needs it...

Well, yes and no.
From a company perspective we only take cases where we know we can make a fair amount of money. I work for a consultancy, not an in-house unit. However, once we take on the case it is assigned to an investigators with the correct skill set, and it also depends on my current work load. I can volunteer for a case though and sometimes a client will ask for a specific investigator based on previous good work done.

Not to brag, or moan, but some days are even longer. If the criminal is on the run and the stolen money flows away to other accounts time is of the essence.

Yes? I can relate, you know what you know, and you have the evidence so you let them talk freely (we call it free narrative), and once they done explaining you ask questions in reverse, starting at the end of the story because you cannot lie in reverse. You can only lie and embellish a story from start to finish, not so much from the end to beginning.

Don't tell anyone you have the copper... puts you high on the Copper Thieves List. We've had so many telephone poles and (mostly empty) homes damaged over the years by copper thieves.

We don't have copper pipe thefts at occupied residential properties...yet, mostly at empty properties but all our houses is brick and mortar so the pipes are embedded into the walls and plastered over.

Our big copper theft problem is underground copper power cables. They will open a manhole then cut the line, then hook that end on the tow bar of a truck and drive off, pulling hundreds of meters of power cables out.

Most cable manufacturers now print serial numbers on the casings to facilitate easy identification of stolen cables and so also link the thieves to the crime, or at least possession of stolen goods.

True that...it is everywhere, even wildlife counting and border fence patrols. You set the coordinates for the flight path and it will follow that, then return to base.

Okay, so today I feel greatfull because I have air in my lungs, no aches and pains, still feel strong and energetic, I woke up with some "naughtiness" in my pants like every other day and I'm just happy that everything still seems to work as it should.
