This is valuable information now we know that if we go back in time we don't take our current knowledge base with us.

I was a bit too quick there. But gay men and straight women have a lot of common interests, hair, fashion, tv, hot boys, coffee, chatting, current events, they might not even be into the same types of guys.

Straight men and gay women might only have one thing in common, and that's that they like women, there could be more but they rarely hang out with each other to find out, possibly because the girls realized they don't like hanging out with guys quite early in life.
