You are missing the point. This is nowhere near the whole story. It is just the opening expanded to fill in some of the story. I am trying to show the way I want to take the story. So others who,want to take it in a different direction can do with my blessing.

No probably not, in an ideal world. However losing wife and family, being on his own for an undetermined length of time plus a concoction of medication all have taken a toll on his body and mind maybe?

Possibly could work. I do however like the idea of her recalling his wife and sees his wife in this stranger. Working on this premise at the moment.
