Cock Talk

This time of year always makes me think of having to go Back To School, the end of summer and the last fun there was to be had.

I was not a fan of school and I’m still very excited not to ever have to go back there.

However, I am interested to know what my fellow Lit friends were like in school, so:

Did you like going to school?
Were you the class clown, brainiac, jock, shy wallflower, the bad kid? What were you like then and how are you different now?
All guys remember going back to school and seeing the girl who “grew boobs” over the summer. Did you transform over the summer, do you remember getting newfound attention? What is the female equivalent to this—what did girls notice different about guys?
Did you stay connected with classmates over summer, or did you enjoy the break from them?
What was the main attribute that stood out to you of the TEACHER you had a crush on?
Do you have a good boner story from school? (Keeping in mind that you and everyone involved were 18 years old at the time—LIT RULES)

No - I had undiagnosed ADHD which made everything a struggle so I was always “not living up to potential” and feeling like a disappointment

I was painfully shy. Now I’m not shy most of the time, though I still am in certain circumstances like with someone I like romantically/sexually.
All guys remember going back to school and seeing the girl who “grew boobs” over the summer. Did you transform over the summer, do you remember getting newfound attention?

No, I don’t remember having any big transformations over the summer or getting attention from people (though I’ve been told I’m pretty oblivious about that, so who knows).
What is the female equivalent to this—what did girls notice different about guys?

I remember noticing boys who had gotten taller or whose voices had dropped.
Did you stay connected with classmates over summer, or did you enjoy the break from them?

I wanted to, but my family went to another state for the summer so it was hard to.
What was the main attribute that stood out to you of the TEACHER you had a crush on?

I never had a crush on a teacher I don’t think
Do you have a good boner story from school? (Keeping in mind that you and everyone involved were 18 years old at the time—LIT RULES)
Nope, I had no dating/sex life in school.

Just imagine how we teachers feel! We don’t want to be there any more than the students do, I can promise you.

No I did not.
Were you the class clown, brainiac, jock, shy wallflower, the bad kid? What were you like then and how are you different now?
I was very quiet and shy when I was in the younger grades. Very disorganized. Very low confidence. I missed a lot of school and we moved around a lot because my dad was in the Army so I didn’t make many lasting friendships. I wore my neighbor’s hand-me-down clothes so I never felt like I looked very nice. I was just kind of on the peripheral.

In the later grades, I was in Catholic school (though I’m not Catholic). I needed “structure”, which I got. There sure were a lot of rules. But looking back, I suppose that it did help me give me some direction that I missed in my younger years. I also made some of my lifelong friends then. I had a small group of friends that have stayed with me through thick and thin to this day. That’s how I tend to be nowadays too- a smaller group of close friendships.

I wasn’t a great student. I wasn’t very mature. I didn’t see the point in my classes and just wanted to get out of school. Funny now I’m the one teaching the classes. But I think my whole experience has helped me recognize my issues when I see them in my students.
All guys remember going back to school and seeing the girl who “grew boobs” over the summer. Did you transform over the summer, do you remember getting newfound attention?
There was a summer when I joined two swim teams - one for my high school and one for the army base I lived near. I also rode my bike to and from the practices. One was in the morning and one was in the afternoon. So, in one summer, I went from not very in shape to absolutely toned and tan and I was super strong and fit. I do remember my friend’s mom saying something like, what in the hell have you been doing this summer??!” That was the only instant attention I remember getting though.
What is the female equivalent to this—what did girls notice different about guys?
I remember some guys growing taller over the summer. Some guys would grow like a foot over those two months. It was crazy.
Did you stay connected with classmates over summer, or did you enjoy the break from them?
I stayed in touch with a couple friends. Sometimes I’d also visit my dad who was stationed overseas after my parents split. So when that happened I didn’t keep in touch.
What was the main attribute that stood out to you of the TEACHER you had a crush on?
My social studies teacher/swim coach. He had the best body. That poor man was so easy to embarass. We would torture him by putting the erasers on the floor so he’d bend down to get them. We were awful. He would blush so red.
Do you have a good boner story from school? (Keeping in mind that you and everyone involved were 18 years old at the time—LIT RULES)
I do not have a boner story. 🤷‍♀️

Shockingly, I loved school. I loved breaks too but I was always ready to go back after a couple weeks
Were you the class clown, brainiac, jock, shy wallflower, the bad kid?
Per above definitely a brainiac. But a little class clown too.
What were you like then and how are you different now?
I’m a lot older? Which thankfully has largely translated in being more secure in who I am. I’m more empathetic to others. Juts more perspective in life . I still love learning things. But book intelligence is not the defining value I thought it was then. My humors changed because I’m secure enough to not need others to feel small for me to feel secure. But otherwise I think there’s a pretty strong throughline in the person I was to the person I am.

I dunno, ask my sisters.
All guys remember going back to school and seeing the girl who “grew boobs” over the summer.
I don’t 🤣
Did you transform over the summer, do you remember getting newfound attention?
Never. I didn’t have the greatest self image, which, looking back at pictures of myself is fairly ridiculous but whaddya gonna do. Anyway, I never had that summer. I do recall a good friend in middle school who was a big D&D nerd buying a new wardrobe and getting a haircut and suddenly not hanging out with us nerds anymore after one summer. It was very teen movie-esque.

Did you stay connected with classmates over summer, or did you enjoy the break from them?
I’m old, we didn’t have cell phones or email. It wasn’t until High School where kids could drive that hanging out over summer became common for me.
What was the main attribute that stood out to you of the TEACHER you had a crush on?
Do you have a good boner story from school? (Keeping in mind that you and everyone involved were 18 years old at the time—LIT RULES)
I didn’t have a crush on any of my teachers in grade school. I did have a psych TA in college who was super cute. But I mean, that’s different. I did usually crush on girls in higher grades though. Until very recently older women were always my thing. 🤣

Samesies.

I'm going to assume horny af.
Did you like going to school?
No.
Were you the class clown, brainiac, jock, shy wallflower, the bad kid?
All but two of the above. Can you guess which?
What were you like then and how are you different now?
My teachers for later grades were assholes and I had a hard time focusing. I still have a hard time focusing and there are still assholes in my life... So, not much.

There was a boy I really liked one year and I thought he finally noticed me and would ask me out but we moved before that could take place. *cue sad music*

Height for sure.
Did you stay connected with classmates over summer, or did you enjoy the break from them?
We wrote each other on Lisa Frank stationary with fruit scented pens! *cue 80's music*

Me too. After defending my thesis I realized I never had to do another poxy class ever again. I was fucking thrilled. Still am. I won’t ever forget that feeling.

Did you like going to school?
Nope. Parts were okay, but it wasn’t my favorite.
Were you the class clown, brainiac, jock, shy wallflower, the bad kid?
None of the above? I had multiple groups of people that I interacted with and did things with, but I wasn’t in any cliques.
What were you like then and how are you different now?
More confident, more laidback.
All guys remember going back to school and seeing the girl who “grew boobs” over the summer. Did you transform over the summer, do you remember getting newfound attention?
Nope. I really put on a good growth spurt between freshman and sophomore college though.

Post high school I rarely interacted with any of them. Friended two on FB after one of the dudes in the group offed himself just to catch up.
What was the main attribute that stood out to you of the TEACHER you had a crush on?
She was smoking hot and very touchy.

I’ll confess to not reading your post before responding, hence the Van Halen again. Apologies.

I’ll take a bad one too!
Lord. Remember when you’d just get a spontaneous erection sitting in class and then you get called on to stand up or worse yet, go to the front of the class? Yeah, that only happened 9,000 times from middle school through high school.
No such thing as too much Van Halen.
True.

Let me just ease this seat back.

I still get boners in public all the time. The good news is, I don’t think I’ve ever noticed another guy’s boner. So even though it feels like everyone in the world is looking at it, I don’t think anyone really is.

Just don’t ever wear sweatpants under any circumstances!

Can I get a hallelujah & an amen to this!!!!

Did you like going to school?
I was always the new girl. I went to 7 different grade schools. I just happened to come of school age at a time where the economy sucked my parents had to move around a lot for work. It really set the tone for the rest of my education. Things like my dyslexia and ADHD, that are often easily caught early, we're missed. However, I will say that it was a key factor that formed me into a fearless and resilient person.
Were you the class clown, brainiac, jock, shy wallflower, the bad kid? What were you like then and how are you different now?
I got along pretty well with everyone. I'm not at all shy, I loved to laugh, and liked to draw out the quiet kids. I had a few close friends, but could flow easily between groups, from jocks to drama kids, I can find something to like in just about anyone. I can't play anything with a ball & points, so I went out for cheerleading and cheered on my friends. It annoyed me that people seemed to expect me to behave a different way once I became a cheerleader, as though I should stop laughing at myself and start being mean to everyone. Not me. Never will be. I'm still that way. I've matured, but I'm very much the same person I always was.

All guys remember going back to school and seeing the girl who “grew boobs” over the summer. Did you transform over the summer, do you remember getting newfound attention?
I got boobs and grew 3 inches over over one summer. Then, I stopped growing & am cursed to be short forever. My boobs were noticed everyone. EVERYONE. That's hard when you're trying to learn to live with these freeloaders that just appeared out of nowhere overnight.
What is the female equivalent to this—what did girls notice different about guys?
I might have a secret Bobby Brady fetish, I always noticed who's voice had changed
Did you stay connected with classmates over summer, or did you enjoy the break from them?
Yes, I usually had a summer job of some kind, and hung out with friends when I wasn't working
What was the main attribute that stood out to you of the TEACHER you had a crush on?
Zero crushes here
Do you have a good boner story from school? (Keeping in mind that you and everyone involved were 18 years old at the time—LIT RULES)
Yes, but that might need to be a boca
