Currently working on a femdom story where the male protagonist is involuntarily given a drug that is kind of a cross between Viagra, MDMA and truth serum, making the subject incredibly horny and suggestable to the point of being submissive.

Does this kind of story break Literotica rules and/or is it too taboo/distasteful a subject for most readers?

No.

Put it in Mind Control.

Trying to define "most" readers is a fool's game. It will be distasteful for some, others will love it, others won't bother reading it at all.

That sounds like a fun story I would enjoy. I'm mostly into femdom or other sorts of D/s related stories, so merging the femdom and 'mind control' style element seems like a fun twist.

As far as rule concerns, I didn't see anything saying Drugs are not allowed. The only issue I could potentially see is the relating to this one.
  • Ravishment/non-consent fantasies in which the “victim” receives no thrill or enjoyment from the acts, or is seriously and/or permanently physically harmed/abused/maimed/killed.
but as long as the guy overall enjoys the experience when all is said and done, then I see no problem with your concept.

Maybe make it clear that it doesn't make him do anything he doesn't want to do, it just lowers inhibitions.

Well, the drug does make the protagonist do things he normally wouldn't do.

It does lower inhibitions as well, but it basically plays around with testosterone, making the male-subject very horny and equally submissive to the gender(s) they are attracted to.

They feel warm, fuzzy and horny with a desperate need to please women (in the story), often incapable of refusing a command for long, the compulsion and arousal building until their willpower finally melts away and they have no choice but to obey.

I had a character snort a line of coke off a cock. Folks seemed to like it.

I think this is fine.

Something he absolutely wouldn't do, or just something he would be reluctant/embarrassed to do?

My story The Academy Affair had the involuntary use of some very nasty drugs as central to the plot. No quibbles noticed.
