I sympathize about the rain… we’ve had 9” of rain so far in August…and we may get more as Hurricane Erin passes us tomorrow just off our coast.

Over here in Europe, we are having your Drought. Hose pipes are banned in much of England. France has had to shutdown a number of Nuclear power stations because the rivers they use for cooling are already over heated. with a temp of 40C Vanessa could shed that cardy.

Alex, these pics were taken on a visit to a place called Bald Rock, which is north of Tenterfield in northern NSW. Easily found on google maps.

The whole area and also into Qld is called the Granite Belt. There are huge outcrops of granite all over the place. Girraween National Park, in Qld, is next door to Bald Rock...which is in NSW.

We visited back around 2016.
