Help! Looking for a spicy read for an upcoming trip where I have a lot of alone time. (Picture cruise with few ports with elderly parents. Yup, it's my turn again. I have my own cabin.)

I am interested in sapphic bdsm. I would like suggestions for fairly competantly written books with strict, calculating, and even quite harsh Mistresses/dommes and (dare I say the word) fairly hardcore (but fairly consensual) bdsm. I recognize the need for safety IRL, but this is fantasy; I am not an innocent daisy in the meadow, IOW. I would not like, however, being caught in the whirlpool of internal dialogue and romantic drama that goes on and on at the expense of the naughty sessions (I have plenty of such books) BUT also would like to avoid the snakes of too-obvious male gaze and baloney-thin plot.

I don't think this book exists in an electronic version, but you can find it in paperback!! The author is Jane Delynn. It's a novel that goes to the extreme that disturbs lesbian BDSM!! If you are sensitive, don't read it

The '90s books Bad Habits and Private Lessons by Lindsay Welsh are quite good for this fantasy.

The latter actually is about a very strict finishing school with the exact kind of correction you describe.

The former is amazing, perhaps the best-described "Mistress with well-equipped classroom teaches sluts to be obedient" novel I have had the opportunity to read. The boss woman is unapologetic and knows *exactly* what she wants. Those who want her attention have three choices - submit, suffer and then submit, or leave. No endless ruminating, no internal turmoil, no intellectual capture-the-flag over pinot grigio (not that those things don't have their place), just **strict** discipline. And...given the acceptance by her primary sub of her role after a shocking slip-up, a happy ending.
