Trump says he’ll sign order banning mail-in ballots, voting machines ahead of 2026 midterms

"They put my name on a hat. Did you see that my name and motto are on hats?"

Tell us how difficult it is for you to walk down the street and vote. I'm sure that you'll have a wild tale to tell about having to brave the warm sunshine and balmy breezes as you stroll down the sidewalk for a few hundred feet.
In Ohio some people are in line for hours to cast their vote. Tell me how many people see that line and decide to just go home and forget about voting?

If it matters enough to you, you'd suck it up and do what it took to cast your vote. Those are the people that are determining who gets elected.

You've been fed so many lies for so long you just recite them automatically.

You want me, and everyone else it seems, to believe that the governors of those blue states and the mayors of blue cities organize the voting precincts so as to make as difficult as possible for the people that support them to vote, right?

Do you realize how disconnected from reality that is?
alternatively, you watch Fox news and read the blaze and believe the bullshit youve been fed from Trump and co instead of live in reality

I dont have to work two or more jobs, take off work from one of those jobs to go wait four, five whatever hours in line to punch a voting card while worrying if my vote matters instead of earning the money I need to feed my kids and pay my rent/mortgage.

As I said, its to prevent certain minorities from voting that traditionally vote for democrats.

But lets flip it, why do YOU dislike the various options available to vote? Dont you want the most amount of pople to vote so it truly reflects the will of the people? Or are you afraid that generally speaking, the popular vote trends to the democrats and so this way it suppresses as many of the more traditionally left-leaning minorities votes which in theory would make it a "closer vote"...?

If you could vote from home, via mail, would you not want to do that instead of having to go to a polling center? I am sure many people enjoy the event, just as I am sure many people would prefer to do it on their own time, possibly a week or two or more in advance via mail. I mean, heck, you probably believe the democrats stole the election in 2020 right? With questionable counts, possibly sketchy voting machines...yes? So wouldnt the same hold true in 2024, 2028 and beyond? Or let me guess, elon musk's starlink saved the day and made it fair to you? So was it broken in 2016?Hence, voting by mail as an option seems to solve that issue on the surface, albeit many mailboxes were lit on fire/blown up to eradicate some cast ballots (in Oregon and Washington).

unless they have to choose between feeding their kids that day and voting.

WTAF does this have to do with you being able to walk down to your local polling place and vote?

No it isn't. It's to prevent voter fraud because it's too easy to do with mail-in voting. Until that's solved the best thing is to not allow it.

But lets flip it, why do YOU dislike the various options available to vote?

I don't dislike the "various options." I merely believe that mail-in voting isn't necessary except in the circumstances in which it was originally created to address.

This is stupid. The argument isn't about maximizing the vote. The issue is whether universal mail-in voting is a smart thing to do or not. IMO, it's not because it allows for voter fraud.

Further, in no way are people being prevented from voting by having to vote in person. Most states have extended voting times, for weeks in some cases, and plenty of local polling places on election day. Your argument is that some hypothetical people can't be bothered to actually go exercise their rights. Yet, as we saw in Georgia, that's not actually true.

Instead, what's really true is that discontinuing mail-in voting is a political narrative of the Left. A narrative which is brought in order to allow the D's to stay in power at the expense of our Republic and society.

No thanks, I'll take a little bit of hardship if that's what it takes to preserve the Constitution and our Nation as it was intended to be.

If you could vote from home, via mail, would you not want to do that instead of having to go to a polling center? I am sure many people enjoy the event, just as I am sure many people would prefer to do it on their own time, possibly a week or two or more in advance via mail.

Here's the thing; exercising your rights isn't supposed to be easy. Voting is a necessary thing to preserve our society. If you can't get off your backside and GO DO IT then what the fuck good are you?

I mean, heck, you probably believe the democrats stole the election in 2020 right? With questionable counts, possibly sketchy voting machines...yes? So wouldnt the same hold true in 2024, 2028 and beyond?

Aaaaand here's the TDS showing up.

Yes we know, Elon bad because Trump.

unless they have to choose between feeding their kids that day and voting.

Yeah, because weeks of extended voting time isn't enough for anyone with a job to figure out how to get down to the local government office and vote before/after work or on Saturdays.

I call it the "Miracle of the Minorities." They seem to be able to go anywhere and do anything they want until it comes to voting, and then they're too fucking crippled to go to the polling place and too fucking stupid to obtain a photo ID.

40 fucking years, the same old song and dance. It truly is a miracle.

You posted this without any reflection.

Neat.

"They"

In civilisation we vote on Sundays so that as many people as possible can vote, every eligible voter receives an invitation and if they can't make it on the day, they return the invitation free of charge and receive postal voting documents in return. The latter can then be dropped unstamped into any post box in the country.
Funny how easy voting can be, isn't it?

Deplorables: Rory is an ageist.

Also Deplorables: If older people can't wait in a line for hours due to various infirmities, the worthless geezers shouldn't be allowed to vote at all.

:)

Deplorables: Rory is an ageist.

It's true.

Proof of concept seen below...

The really bad part is that not only can't rorbags see what's right in front of him, he doubles down on the stupid to perpetuate it.

You don't know what "proof of concept" means.

That. Is. Hilarious. 😆

You have no idea what I know or don't know.

Instead you project your NEED!!!!! for attention as if it's someone else's responsibility to give it to you upon demand.

What's really funny is that you don't understand that this is really just you begging for it.

trump got played on the world stage and there’s a stooge joke in there somewhere
