Non-Jews always assume Judaism is just “Christianity without Jesus”. The think we have similar attitudes about faith, proselytizing, and imposing our rules on others. Even atheists get it wrong.
I think the term Judeo-Christian contributes to it. It’s from an assimilation movement from before I was born. Hanukah/Christmas, Passover/Easter, although the Christian last supper was supposedly a Passover sedar.

I guess I read it differently, he said what needed to be done, not that he did it. There are many who feel this way, but those are not the orders and the army runs on orders. One of the reasons he is no longer in the military is because he can’t do what he feels what needs to be done.

By what law are the Israeli settlements illegal? I doubt the Israeli Knesset passed such a law. According to the Law of Moses the settlements are obligatory. International law does not matter. When Nasser told the so called "UN Peacekeeping Force" to leave, the peacekeepers fled in terror, Gaza, the West Bank, and the Golan Heights are the legitimate spoils of a war provoked by the Arabs with the hope of destroying Israel and killing all the Jews there.

You have still not explained to me what international law is, and why the Israelis are required to obey it. Russia is the largest country in the world. Israel is one of the smallest. We should let the Jews have it and tell the Palestinians to move. I would welcome a restoration of David's Empire with the addition of Gaza, but I think that should only be achieved in response to additional acts of Arab aggression.
