Like meteor light show??

When I was in Alaska, I stopped counting at well over 100 meteors in less than an hour!
I'll NEVER forget that night.
I looked online and there wasn't even any mention of a meteor shower happening.

@subdudeme13 - I have an emergency kit I prepare every year, too. Except mine goes in the car... for winter driving

@Tweedledude - fancy coffee and donuts always look and smell so good. But I'm not a fan of any of them. Give me a cup of black coffee and a plain bran muffin any day over all that other stuff. My siblings think I'm nuts... I tell them they just got extra Sweet Tooth from me just like they always got all my Halloween candy when we were kids.

She’s holding up way better than I ever thought for as many setbacks in a such a short amount of time as she’s had.

Some appointments are like that... go in for something routine and come out with 2+ new dx
Can be exhausting... for the care-givers, too.
Hope you can carve out some self-care time there in the mines.

Similar feels when I was a young child visiting in Maine one summer. The stars!! Being a City Girl, I never realized just how many are obscured by the light pollution from the city. I was allowed to stay out later than usual that night - just to gaze up at all those stars.

Busy day today with community stuff , gardening and helping put a new sign up on the RV site. I need to get the boys out yet and do a little training but it’s hot again today. I don’t like pushing them this weather but the season is not far off.

Once a tanker, always a tanker.

I got the skidsteer all hung up on a giant log today. Prolly 20” in diameter. It lurched to the right… the left track was in the air spinning and the skidsteer was at abt a 25° angle. A little dangerous…

Fuck! I’m in the middle of the woods by myself. Shoulda taken a picture.

Army training kicked in. Stuff logs under the left track so it can get gription. I had my chain saw with me. Cut some logs to put under the left track. (I also used the front end loader to push myself up and back.

And it worked!

Who said being a tanker had no transferable skills to civilian life?

Got a lot of trail cut today. Had a stubborn spot with a lot of down logs.. maybe only got 30-40 Ft done in two hours, but then I broke out into a more open area.

I should have that trail done tomorrow.

Ya know these TV commercials about feminine deodorants are a bit much...
in my early years smoking was taboo on TV. Now you see how and where to apply the deodorants...

That's what's nice about Bo. If you can keep the old boy upright, you can walk the little fella along using the loader and the hoe simultaneously. He's just the right size so a fella can operate the hoe while giving the loader a reacharound.
