I did not overstep. I pointed out that using epithets against people dehumanizes them and that this is a common step towards mass murder and genocide.
Given that some people paid attention to their history classes then it should not be unexpected that when one group targets another with dehumanizing epithets that the target group will prepare to defend itself.
If you want a civil war then keep doing what you're doing. Sooner or later you'll get there.
