I worked on a project at a power plant to reduce air pollution. Things didn't go as planned so it took longer than expected. I made a couple of trips there of the course of a year. The main thing i remember was they guys in the control room having wine with lunch. Here in the US you would be fired. I visited the Egyptian Museum and and a few others. I had a great time over all between food and a challenging job.

Glad you had a good time!!! Its not the most popular tourist city of course, but nice of you to stay and enjoy!

A friend of mine's dad used to get hammered when he was ill to get rid at same time as the hangover and it seemed to work for him.

Here's one I havent shared.

Since I grew up speaking Italian, when I moved to Los Angeles I assumed cities and names were pronounced/said with an Italian accent, not a Spanish one since LA was originally part of Mexico etc.

So a street thats near me for example is San Vicente. Its pronounced San Vih-sent-ay, but I said it as San Vih-chent-ay.
Haha, I had to quickly learn!
