Does anyone know what happened to Castlestone? It would be so nice if 'Sophia pt 5 was posted. :D:D:confused:

I believe we are forever out of luck. He died in an auto accident shortly after posting pt four. God rest his soul - we miss him and wish someone would finish it,

True. Saddest of all is that his heirs may not even know that they own castlestone's copyrights. The work may be professional grade and worth publishing commercially. So many writers here want no one to know they write erotica.

Published at eXcessica, BarbarianSpy, and Cyberworld Publishing under the names habu and Dirk Hessian.

From 4-star 1 May 2011 review by Examiner.com’s Acquanetta Ferguson of menage novella Dark Primeval: There is also something to be said for a man who writes erotica. Some don’t get it and write porn, but Habu gets what erotica is all about and the story comes off as a powerful read.

For illustrated GM stories, see stories under my habu author name at http://www.barbarianspy.com

Also, coauthoring as Shabbu and Stephen Kessel with Sabb:

From the 4 1/2-Star August Rainbow Review on I Met a Man: . . . a thoroughly wonderful reading experience for me. I look forward to reading more from the writing collaboration of habu and Sabb, who I believe make an important contribution to gay literature.

Goodness. Promotional spam.

SA Penn Lady, there's an infestation going on, spammers running wild here. I just asked Laurel to blow off the spamblurt on my "Embarras de Richesse" thread. They're as bad as lice: get rid of one batch and another shows up. I report every instance I find. But a PM to Laurel and the Mod works best.

More About Copyright

This was a discussion today (July 13), on the AH BB I think, concerning "orphan" copyrights. Those are copyrighted works where the copyright owner (who may or may not be the author) has vanished and can't be found with reasonable diligence. And the copyright may be good for up to 67 years. Legislation has been proposed, but so far has gone nowhere.

In this case, we know the author is dead, but his/her copyright is still good (although not enforceable unless registered). And we don't know if the author's heirs know they inherited the copyright. A mess.

In these days, wouldn't it be possible to load castletones first four parts into grammarly, and ask it to write part five.
Couple of points here.

First, the copyright remains with the heirs, so without permission, it's copyright infringement.

Second, Lit would not allow an AI written story to be submitted.

Third, an AI written story is going to be a waste of time.

Fourth, you replied to a thread that had been dead for 13 years.

Sixth, they responded to a dead person, which is sextuple irony.

The "heirs' remark is interesting in the sense how many people write here and their family has no idea?

I'm not advocating to do this by any means, but I don't think hairs are a concern in many cases.
