Does anyone know what happened to Castlestone? It would be so nice if 'Sophia pt 5 was posted.

True. Saddest of all is that his heirs may not even know that they own castlestone's copyrights. The work may be professional grade and worth publishing commercially. So many writers here want no one to know they write erotica.

More About Copyright

This was a discussion today (July 13), on the AH BB I think, concerning "orphan" copyrights. Those are copyrighted works where the copyright owner (who may or may not be the author) has vanished and can't be found with reasonable diligence. And the copyright may be good for up to 67 years. Legislation has been proposed, but so far has gone nowhere.

In this case, we know the author is dead, but his/her copyright is still good (although not enforceable unless registered). And we don't know if the author's heirs know they inherited the copyright. A mess.

First, the copyright remains with the heirs, so without permission, it's copyright infringement.

Second, Lit would not allow an AI written story to be submitted.

Third, an AI written story is going to be a waste of time.

Fourth, you replied to a thread that had been dead for 13 years.
