Will the scores reset if I send an edited version of a published story back and how long to be approved

Hi, this was totally my fault but on a recent story of mine I changed the main characters name from Madeline to Melanie and then back again without even realising. I've sent the same story back and marked it edited at the end so it replaces the original one. I was wondering does that mean the scores will be reset and how long does it take. I submitted the edited version on 27th July but still in pending. It was my own fault I had to write the story in sections and didn't have a chance to read it aloud to myself or would have spotted my silly error

No, the metadata remains as it was.

and how long does it take.

Two to three weeks.

Nothing resets except the text you changed, and it doesn't go back on the New list. Edits can take two weeks up to a month.

Thanks everyone and lol I won't be doing it again. I should have waited until I could read it back to myself or until I had time to write it in longer sections. Now I wait until I have a chance to proof read it and read it out loud to myself, I find it the easiest way

Try text to speech to read your story aloud. I find many errors that way.
