Blank images on Illustrated works

So, I just went to SSL's story, "Family Play: Brother's Lucky Day" and I noticed the images were not visible. I checked another story, "Awakening: 7 Slutty Blackmail Tasks" and got the same result. I also tried "Helena's Family 4+PICS" and half of the images were blank. I think there's a glitch on this site that's preventing us from seeing certain images. IDK what's happening, but hopefully this post helps shed some light.

There is/was a glitch in displaying avatars on the forums. Probably related.

It started happening some time ago, soon after the site began its crackdown on illustrations and images. I noticed it on similar stories about a month ago.

It's not a glitch. The site is shutting down most visual content, especially if it depicts nudity. It's in response to recent age verification legislation in various jurisdictions around the world.

Great, I guess SSL and others are going to stop posting illustrated works then. It's a shame, too. She has some of the best works on this site, and a lot of them are her illustrated stuff.

Just to be thorough here, we were warned about this change months ago. Only problem is... they, apparently, never bothered making an announcement outside the forum. At least not that I would have seen or heard of.

A few years into our experiment with the "no nudity" image policy for new features - and with overwhelmingly positive feedback during the experiment - we're planning to expand the policy to more of Literotica's existing features with images over the coming months. The obvious place where it will make a difference is in User Avatars, though we plan to expand the policy to the Literotica Forums as well as to the Illustrated Stories and Artwork in the future. We understand that these changes may have an impact on some members' already-published avatar images, forum uploads, illustrated stories, and artworks - but the total number of images involved should be tiny compared to the total number of images, stories, and other works shared on Literotica.
