With a discrete qualification, Marxists will agree that ...He seems to think that raw democracy - majority wins and rules - somehow isn't the same thing as "sticking it to the minority." Perhaps he doesn't understand the words he uses because they have too many syllables. Especially when strung together.
The funny thing is that a Republic is designed to PROTECT the minority by limiting the effect of the majority. A concept that stupid shit Leftists don't seem to comprehend. Perhaps because of the number of syllables involved.
'A Republic is designed to PROTECT the [ruling class 1% GOP / Next 9% Democratic Party] minority by limiting the effect of the [working class 90%] majority.'
As Marx put it ...
'The executive of the modern state is but a committee for managing the common affairs of the whole bourgeoisie.' Preface to A Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy [Marx]
'The state is the executive committee of the bourgeoisie.' The Communist Manifesto [Marx]
'The state is therefore an instrument for the suppression of one class by another, a product of class antagonisms.' Critique of the Gotha Program [Marx]
So, WHY wouldn't the left grasp what Marx told us repeatedly?
