Yes, there are quite a few sex "sights" on this site for sure. You might as well post a photo of a TR4 for context. I would do it, but the thread has already drifted a lot. Not just drifted, shoved miles off course. I know, I am responsible for that too.
Sight, site, my bad. A nice play on words BTW. (y)

I'll never understand why there is so much insistence on staying "on topic" and not "hijacking" the conversation during such a discussion. To me it's just like a nice party. A bunch of people standing around talking, with several conversations on different subjects going on at one time. For my 2 cents, a demand to only discuss the OP's post smacks just a bit of OCD.

As to a picture of a TR4:

Mine is (I still have it although in a disassembled condition) actually a 1962 model. There were just over 4000 out of the total of 40,000, TR4's produced in '62. I'd have to run out and look but the body number of mine is in the 3000 range.

People have different views of what AH should be. From my experience, the majority view is to stay on topic and not "hijack" a thread. Also, the OP is mostly considered to - well, not quite own the thread, but their original question is often considered the priority.

I can't say how prevalent that opinion is. The majority of authors are not even on AH. So, post as you see fit, but don't be surprised if you get some pushback. I guess the forum moderator is the official arbiter of what goes on here. Whoever that person is doesn't intervene very often, but I've seen threads get moved to another forum. Usually I get why that was done. Also, once in a while a thread will be deleted if it gets too "heated" (too many insults traded). That is part if online life.

I've seen worse; I've seen sites shut down message boards entirely for a while when things got too out-of-control. I think IMDB.com (the movie database site) got rid of its message boards forever because it was impossible to moderate something as complex and, well, controversial as that was. "Quentin Tarantino is a genius!" "No, he's an idiot!" Blah, blah, but that is an example of what would happen regularly there.

At a real party, you either know the other person or at least they are right next to you. I'm sure you remember what that was like. But the Internet changed everything.
