Bunny's Stuffie Corner

I was just exhausted yesterday, between working so much the day before and standing in line to deposit money in my account on a hard concrete floor for nearly an hour. I ended up going to bed early, so unfortunately, not a lot of fun occurred.

I had a 9:30 am telehealth therapy appointment this morning, even though I specifically asked for an afternoon one. Anyway, I went right back to bed after it was over.

Now, I'm logged in, waiting for calls. Hopefully, it'll pick up soon.
Ah, well sounds productive at least. And yes sleeping is productive. :p Without sleep you can't function.

I'll cross my fingers for you.

Thank you! I'm considering calling it a night early again tonight, tbh. I'll do better tomorrow and over the weekend!

So as some of you know, in addition to being a PSO, I also do some freelance writing on the side. It's mostly just blogs for other PSOs, but it can occasionally be something else.

Today, I'm working on a complaint letter to a state Attorney General's office. I wish I had scored high enough on the LSAT to actually get into law school because writing bitchy letters all day sounds like so much fun!

That actually does sound fun.

I just had a guy call to complain about my (reasonable for the industry) rates. I don't know what he expected from me, but he got a thank you and was hung up on. You want cheap, go call somebody that's cheap. I only get half of what I charge, anyway. The platform takes 50% of it. I'm not getting you off for slave wages, bro. It's not that serious.

Wow, seriously? Shouldn't you at least, look at the rates before you call?

You'd think! And why waste your money on a one-minute call to tell me my rates are too high? Just keep it moving if you can't afford it.

I'm pretty sure it was a ham-handed attempt at getting me to lower my rates, which I will do when hell freezes over and not a moment before. 🤣

I've heard that with art at least, the more expensive you make it, the more likely people are to buy it.

Doesn't work that way with books though. But I can't imagine that lowering your rates would get you more money.

Yep! It'll probably get me more calls, but that doesn't necessarily equal more minutes. In essence, you're doing twice the work for half the money!

Also, I just had a two-hour call, despite not having anything else but the guy complaining about my rates all day. Thank you, Universe!
