The first time I had roasted Brussels sprouts, they were roasted with garlic. I'd eat dirt with roasted garlic on it!

Read an interesting take from a shrink that there's no such thing as adult onset ADHD. There's also a lot of that developmentally related stuff that you either have as a kid or you ain't gonna get it. I suspect that an adult occurring inability to focus is related more to over-stimulation (likely from too much time spent on too many devices) than anything else, and she seems to support that with her article.

Interesting. I do think we've seen more diagnoses of ADHD since cell phones became more accessible. Or maybe there's more awareness?

I woke up to a car that will not start. As it’s a lease, it’s heading to the dealership. My insurance company towing company was rude and did not come. . So I had another towing company take it to the dealership. My next step is to send the towing receipt to the insurance company. I plan to stop in this week and have a discussion

Reminds me of the time...
older, younger brothers kept trying to get the seat to move back "just a little bit more" and busted it off its moorings. This was the days of bench seats. Think 80s GM sedan.
None of us girls could safely drive it because we kept sliding back so far our feet lost contact with the pedals. Even mom at 5'11" couldn't drive it safely.
I had one of those stuffed chairback pillows for reading in bed... flipped it upside down and laid it in the driver's seat. Filled up just enough of the space so we could drive it.
RIP pillow - you were a beloved favorite and gave your all for the cause.

Lady K has advanced Scoliosis to her spine at a 43% degree left angle and lives in extreme pain along with a neck kyphosis. She's begging me to assist her in ending her pain...
She every doctor imaginable, but no real help, just lots of drugs.
I can't...I can't live without her. I know it's being selfish, but I don't know what to do...
Any suggestions?

Oh, RJ! I'm so sorry for both of you. My advice to you is to listen to her wishes. I know you don't want to be without her but at what expense?

I have noticed that there have been issues in the past with all this manual work and as we are presenting to leadership, we should as a group come up with a plan to move forward. I think I will loop in Ashley (my boss) to get her insight as she is the deciding vote in what we are talking about.

Caught up for another day. Today, I decided to give syrup making another go. I saw an article on using cherry pits for making syrup. I tried it and it was SO. MUCH. EASIER! I still made a bit of a mess but not the complete thrashing I gave my kitchen the other day! I think I'll be doing it this way from now on. I found these cute glass bottles at the dollar store! This one went to my friend across the street tonight.
