Accusations in Story Feedback

Yep, definitely Stacnash. There are many threads about her (consensus is that it’s a she - there are threads about that too). I noticed a few days ago that she was launching a fresh battleship of outrage, targeting people with attractive profile pics
She must be one of those idiots outraged over that Sweeney jeans commercial

I don't think it should be considered controversial that if someone here goes too far, readers report them. Without that, this place will be flooded with illegal material and no one should want that.

If someone breaches the ToS then yes, you should report them. If someone breaches the content guidelines, then yes, you should report them. If you see "questionable content," that you're not sure about, and you don't know if it's a breach or not, then yes, you should contact the webmaster and make them aware, so that they can determine if it's an issue or not.

If someone simply writes a story with a kink that, for you, personally "goes to far" and offends you, but it is not in breach of the ToS or the content guidelines, and you know that it isn't, then no, you shouldn't waste the site's time by falsely reporting it as a violation of the ToS. If you're offended by allowed sexual content, then maybe you should just... stop reading and leave.

These aren't just a "my opinion" thing, it's in the literal ToS:

  • 5. You will exit from this site immediately if you are in any way offended by the sexual nature or content of any material.
  • 8. There are portions of this site that are unmoderated and Literotica does not monitor the content of those parts of the site. We are not responsible for content posted by users without our consent or knowledge. If you see questionable content on the site, please contact the webmaster and make them aware of the situation.

The ToS are numbered. I'd suggest that if anyone is accusing someone of breaching the ToS and you are unable to state the specific numbered ToS violation then it's quite possibly time to stop and think if this is an actual ToS violation, or if it's something else.

Now, just to be clear, I'm not talking about genuine errors. If you read a story without your glasses on and mistakenly read "19" for "17" and report underaged content when it's not, that's not what I'm talking about. If you're not sure, and report it just in case, so that it can be investigated by someone who knows more about it than you, that's not what I'm talking about.

Okay, but once the site addresses the report and determines that the reader was wrong? Do you think the reader should continue to push their point of view, which at that point runs counter to the site owner?

Exactly. Even if Stacnash did actually think my story breached one of the 14 terms of services, she's reported it to those who know more about it than her, and they have confirmed it doesn't. Also, they've confirmed it doesn't breach the content guidelines. The story was never taken down, the site owners never contacted me about any issues. For me, putting it under a category stating it's an "Unconfirmed ToS breach" really pushes the issue. It also makes me less likely to believe the claims she makes about other stories.

I think that the misgendering is a disturbing new element. It may be legitimate to question whether a profile picture is being used in breach of copyright (in which case a polite private message might be a good start). But to assume that every pseudonym and attractive pic conceals a middle aged man and then attack them accordingly is ridiculous behaviour and takes the ‘self-appointed cop’ thing to a new level.

I have no issue with a user looking for and reporting copyright infringement, after all, copyright infringement is a breach of the ToS (number 10.) But if a user is looking for this to specifically target those users so they can misgender them, that seems not right. I hope no one on this website would do that!

At any rate, my profile pictures always represent the character of the story I'm working on at the time, they're not meant to be a representation of myself. I can't recall, but I'm pretty sure that at the time she reported my story, my profile pic was a drawing of the main character of my WIP Duty is a Four-Letter-Word. He's a dude, so the profile pic did not match my gender, and I guess he might be kinda cute? 🙈 🤷‍♀️ But also it wasn't copyright infringement.

It's worth noting, that NONE of the stories Stac accuses of violating the ToS actually do so.
The content guidelines are something completely different.
Also her "confirmed" list isn't actually "confirmed". A story getting taken down isn't proof of anything other than it got reported.
In Bean's case having the mod say, effectively, "hey, make is ABSOLUTELY clear that these people are over 18" doesn't mean the author violated the content guidelines to begin with, the site just doesn't want it to be at all ambiguous.

So the "Unconfirmed ToS Violations" are neither unconfirmed nor violations. The "Confirmed ToS Violations" are not ToS Violations. Does this mean the plagiarised story isn't plagiarised? The AI stories aren't AI? What's next?

Well, for example, in her list 'Cheating: Use of Generative AI', she's linked to a @MillieDynamite story written originally in 2013. Which is self-evidently ridiculous.

👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Read my above comment dude. I literally said you obviously just don’t like piss play. The story was under the fetish category. If you’re boring and vanilla just don’t scroll that list. 🤭

Yes okay, it was my first ever upload maybe there could have been a tag here or there I should have added but watersports was definitely on there.

And thanks for the weird compliment, I guess. I appreciate you thinking I’m attractive, but I’m sorry to tell you this: I really don’t care if the story ruined that for you. I’ll try my best to sleep tonight knowing you’re a little less into me 😜
"I don't like piss play." - Them

You and I, and authors who love it!

So the only one here that would be that old has to be Quick Encounter with a Prostitute. I'd pulled it off of most sales sites and republished it at Amazon in 2023. I put it here from the year before. It was initially on RU, after it had been on Amazon and Smashwords, under the same title as it is here, from mid-2013 until 2018, when I pulled it down from everywhere. That's 100% my writing and is based on an actual event.

The bitch, Succubus was written in 2013, originally published on another website, after having been on sale for a whole year at Amazon. I updated the Amazon version in 2019.

It has been behind the paywall at said site since the day it went up.
