I don’t post here much (a lot of inside jokes that I just can’t keep track of 
) but have kept an eye as a result of the recent laws.
I’d recommend Nord or Proton VPN. I just tried the Reddit selfie verify and it’s ridiculous. It’s unclear what happens if you ‘fail’ recognition, which is feasible in poor lighting or direction. Thankfully, I didn’t. But it the selfie verification couldn’t tell I’m in my 40’s, we have problems

You can retry, basically until it verifies you’re of age. No idea what happens with the non-verified pictures.

Nord VPN has been awful for me. It didn't work when I was overseas and they automatically charged me when I picked a one off service. Their customer service is also terrible. AI auto generated emails. Avoid!

I had an issue with them when I was using my very old G5 mac but not since. It's okay for now, but ExpressVPN was supplied with the new OS so I may give it a shot when my renewal comes around ( auto renew is switched off! )
