Coffee Appreciation Thread

Coffee prices going up but will never give it up. Love starting my day outside watching sun come up :) and yes of course naked.

I tend to make one coffee at home using my Bialetti pot on the stove, then head out for another later in the morning (or vice versa) at one of the local cafes - usually Vago Rizzuto.

Funnily enough, they use the same coffee as we do at home, which is from Morettino, the premier Sicilian coffee roaster. We are currently enjoying their limited-run Rosalia #400 blend.

Since my lil’ Bialetti has seen better days, it’s been AeroPress recently. Fills the gap nicely and gives the required morning bean de-stress.

Loving a local roastery blend currently…

I didn’t know good coffee until I moved to Australia, of all places!🇦🇺 They’re absolute caffeine snobs down here. The bad coffee places go bankrupt within weeks.

We know good coffee ☺️
One sign of a good cafe here - they roast their own blend of beans.

Colombian roast fresh beans is where it’s at for me. That or a good espresso. Hard to find though, Starbucks and Costa don’t do a good enough job, I find they’re rather bitter. And pricey.!

There’s a very talented barista from Brisbane who sometimes joins my husband and me in bed. He’s all abs and cock, and I must say that he certainly knows how to wake a girl up and put a smile on her face!🤣☕
Us Queenslanders know how to make a smooth shot 🔥💦

is no one drinking coffee lately? wtf.

Made an Americano this morning. I like to add a dash of cinnamon to top it off.

Might have to do a doppio con panna upside down tonight though.
Thats a shot of espresso topped with whipped cream. Except I do it upside down so you put the whipped cream in first, then add the shot. It melts it and gets it all creamy (ahem).
Kinda like an affogato if you have not ever had that (ice cream with espresso poured over it) but...a notch healthier of course!

I can't drink drip coffee anymore. It has too much caffeine. Luckily I have a commercial Gaggia machine and I make two cappuccino a day with it.

never tried it...dark? what flavors does it consist of (chocolate, cinnamon...?)
Hey @LilKitKat sorry about the delayed reply.
The coffee is from a local roaster here in South East Queensland Australia

I’ve copied the tasting notes for you:

I like supporting local and we have a ton of boutique roasters here. These guys are my current favs 😌
