What are we all writing right now?

Just finished editing "An Interesting Development, Act II." It's in pending, now. Should be live in a couple of days.

Jeanie's plan to set up her lesbian girlfriend with a man progresses. Dave FINALLY gets some much-needed sleep. Then it's Wednesday night, again!

Might be why they're called plot bunnies.
Why have I not heard this term before. lol. Thank you.
There are sooo many bunnies.

I have recently completed one bunny (Sasquatched, my second attempt at non-human), and am currently playing with another that involves mistaken identities and my first literary threesome...

Last chapter of part two of my newest series Queen EJ. I've never written a Valentine's Day Dance before, so we'll see how that goes. Pretty happy with part two so far.

I'm working through my first 'real' attempt at a brother-sister incest story. Struggling a bit to keep it grounded and realistic in the context of small town gossip, birth control, sibling fights and their awareness that it's a long-term losing strategy, but I'm getting there! I guess half the point of incest stories is that they're not realistic, but I'm determined to not send them to a conveniently located deserted lake for skinny dipping.

I've decided, very last minute, to try and make something in time for "An ode to mickey Spillane". It's gonna be about a hard boiled former detective who narrates his married suburban life in the style of noir. Going to be a lot of fun to write I think :)

Bonus points if the detective is the descendant of Humpty Dumpty.

I have started my third attempt to write a story for the Crime and Punishment story event. I gave up (for now) on the period piece that was my second attempt-- too much research required and I was having trouble with dialogue not sounding cartoonish. So on to my third attempt-- a stripped down, two character crime story.

I've made a firm decision to finish the final chapter of Dungeon of Desire. It's in my head, I have nearly 2k words done, I just have to finish it. It's a shame it's been in limbo for so long: the story is good(-ish), the characters interesting and the sex hot hot hot.

Just submitted the finale for the Chain Story, Matchmaking for the Shy.

Working on the next I Say Ass, You Say Arse story. Basically, a guy is lured into trying BDSM... and *doesn't* like it!

Got a prickly gay romance trundling along, various snippets growing. I'd like to write something for the Crime & Punishment event again, but not got an idea at the moment

Trying to finish what was supposed to be the second and last chapter of a short Halloween story, but it may end up three chapters.

I submitted Ch 2 for my fantasy story about a horny human and a bimbo elf (that's been pending for a long time).

I'm working on a sci-fi story for the AI: Era, but I keep losing motivation.

I have a fantasy story about slavery and Orcs that I need to edit and break up into chapters.

Lastly, I have a light-hearted story about a young man and a witch, but I wrote it so long ago I'm dreading rereading it and editing it because of the cringe factor at my old writing.

I'm 99%% done on a submission for the Summertime Contest. Working title is Yachting to Love. A young man finally stands up to another who has been a constant jerk in his life. Plus, he falls for the jerks sister.

Then I hope to get back to a story I've been working on for (what seems like) a long time now. It's proving to be a major learning lesson for this new author.

Editing my next story Iron Love. This will be my first submission (if accepted) in Lesbian category. Once again a story that's not so steamy, but I couldn't help myself.

Also planning on taking a dive in the Reluctance/NonConsent category with a Viking story. I'm still trying to figure out the limitations of that category 🤔 let's see if I'll ever finish it.

I'm writing a story that was request of me by a girl I met on a dating site when wanted a story of two newbies who try to establish a BDSM relationship. I find it interesting despite having fall out of contact with the girl mostly because I've never tried to write in that genre. Since I myself have a passing interest but not a serious one in BDSM, I thought I would write it from my own perspective as a complete newb and maybe it would come out as honest speculation and might amuse those involved in the lifestyle as a reminder of how they felt when they were trying things out at first. So far, I'm almost 12k in and the only real sex has been a bit of playful oral on the way into the countryside to her home. However, that does follow exactly what the original; plans were shaping up to me before I cut off contact with "Elle." I'm trying to make sure I put at least 500 words a day on the project.

I decided I want to try and maximize my exposure by writing something in every category, and this would take care of one that I have no experience in, without me seeming like I'm trying to "talk out of my ass" about it. My own inexperience mirrors the characters.

I also started a piece about a woman who suddenly, in her thirties, has discovered she has a "switch" in her head that she can throw that will make any one person completely and totally sexually obsessed with her. She's going back to an ex-lover who is now a paranormal researcher to try and figure out what's going on.

My "Billionare Brat gets taught a lesson" novella for KU & my AI Contest entry now that the rules around how they're to be titled has been cleared up.
