Like wicked cool frisbees and fancy mechanical pencils?

I used to collect those metallic colored gel pens that were just so fascinating to write with πŸ€—

You and I have the same reaction to the Lego aisle.

My favorite set that I have is, of course, the D&D castle.

The set that I WANT is the soon-to-be-released Schloss Neuschwanstein.

The only other aisle that makes me stop in my tracks and go for a look-see is the board games / card games / party games. You know... for those blue moons when I'm feeling social.
I always check out the action figure section. I’ve never once happened across anything that is not a peg warmer but hope springs eternal.

I also usually check out the board games. It was exciting a few years ago when games like Ticket To Ride and Wingspan and such started being in Targets. But now the mix of even hobbyist board games is pretty predictable
The game aisle is a must for me! I’m even so evil as to give each of my kids a game from Santa every year to add to the pile πŸ«£πŸŽ„

For many years I just tried to get pretty much every different kind of frisbee I could. Dreams of a weirdly large display of hundreds of them in my collection that are now just many boxes in my garage.

Then COVID hit and started doing disc golf. Now I still look for new ones but mostly just trying to find that elusive magical one that mysteriously misses trees.

Yes, always the nice mechanical pencils. Too nice to let anyone else use them unless they give me collateral to ensure the trade back.

What’s that one thing you see while in the store that makes you stop and walk over just to look and explore even if you aren’t planning on buying? And if you have that one thing and it’s a pricey love…what is one that you’ve dreamed of purchasing but haven’t got yet?

Quilts - or fabric, even when I have so much to do several quilts myself!

I think I'm at that time in my life where a machine to quilt what I've pieced together would be nice. I've always done that part by hand, and it relaxes me, but I can see the benefit of not having a baby's blanket on my lap as I quilt it!

I realize I’m a horrible thread hostess, sorry 🫣

This one was suggested by a friend. If you were in an arcade what’s that one game you had to play and what is your arcade junk food while you play?

Mine is Pinball and loaded Nachos! Extra jalapeΓ±os please.

If I have this in the background, all the better!

Cruis'n World or Street fighter. They didnt really serve food. But you could get chips and any flavor of Shasta Soda that you wanted for a dollar.

Taters.

Though shall not pass.

β€œNatural 20? I’ll take my top off for that.”

There's an old school arcade in my town that I absolutely love. I spend most of my time in the pinball room while I'm there. Or if I'm with other people I'll usually try to get in a few games of air hockey. They have a small snack bar that makes really cheap and greasy cheesesteaks and fries for $5, which is as good a meal deal as you'll find these days. I order mine without the cheese and sometimes they even listen!

round 1
Fight!

Who did you main? You strike me as a Blanka main.

I’d also pick Street Fighter. Probably Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, that was my heyday. And I’d play Blanka or M. Bison while chomping down on the ahitty pizza they had at the arcade that only tasted good at the arcade. (I’m assuming I’m younger and can still eat cheese)

If not Street Fighter 2 I’d have to pick Smash TV! That game ruled.

I’ll kick your ass at some air hockey! Also a fan of skee ball.

I did also like to play Arctic Thunder. They had that one at the movie theater I went to as a kid.

Not going to eat them while I play, but I fucking love mozzarella sticks.

Superstars and Golden Axe, I just want a cold drink while playing. Food will get the joystick greasy.
