I always liked walking in to pure chaos when I interviewed for a position. My specialty was bringing order to chaos, so I knew that was an environment that needed my skillset. Next time you run into that scenario (chaotic interview), take charge, straighten it out, and lead them through the interview. Either way, wish you the best as it all unfolds.

As for the pictures - I'm relatively new to your thread, so pretty much anything you post I haven't seen and they're all appreciated and admired.

Sorry to hear about that. Usually BS when it starts out that way but hoping for the best for you.

My day is going ... meh. One irritating meeting after another, irrelevant questions, useless exercises, so, the usual.

On another hand, have to reign in one of the outsourced talents on my own small business. 10 hours of billing and she's given me ONE LIST to show for it. So, gonna transition to pay for specific milestones, like, don't just their hours on a timesheet because you can, you know? I don't think she's necessarily being unethical, but I also think it's hard to defend why I have a list than runs for two pages, for 10 hours of work.

So I log on for the webex interview meeting at 7am. Im thrown into a weekly status call type of meeting with about 8 other employees.
I think "oops" and drop.
I try the link again 2 min later (maybe the meeting was just running long).
Same thing, so I drop.
I wait another 2-3 min (now I would be 5 min "late" to my interview) rejoin...same result, drop the call.
Text my recruiter, who is on vacation in Tel Aviv. She is like WHAAAT? She asks if I can rejoin and stay on. I said sure.
So I do for another 7, 8 min, and then am like...yooooo, its now 7:15, ie, 15 min late to the interview and they arent wrapping up and my interview would either be cut short or Id be late to my current job's meeting. So I tell her thanks, but...we need to reschedule I think?
So she messages the contact back and forth.
Its now tomorrow. Wednesday. 7 am again.

well, its a majort company, wont say who yet...happy to if i dont get the job of course. there could be legit reasons...but it wasnt an amazing first impression

Humidity has been a killer this summer in Texas. We've had so much rain the air just feels thick. Drink plenty of water, dehydration sucks!!

And slowly getting back into work after a long weekend off

That sounds unpleasant but admittedly, I wouldnt want to be in Texas in the summer for any reason. Actually and this isnt intended to offend though it undoubtedly will to some degree, and aside from Austin and the no state income tax, name something good about Texas. And dont say BBQ because you can get great BBQ in KC, Tenn, Carolinas, and many other cities and states.
Ill accept any reasonable answers.
Cute girls? Ok fine.
Country music? Not my thing ever but ok.
HS football? Again, IDGAF but ok.
Name something else.
