๐ŸŽต Monthly Song Challenge ๐ŸŽต

Catching up
Day 1: A song with the word โ€œmoonโ€
For me this is the quintessential country song, produced with today's sound. Harkening back to the roots. Lost love, loneliness, alcohol, can you relate?
Brooks & Dunn - Neon Moon

Day 15: A song with the word โ€œhairโ€

If my hair isn't bordering on ridiculously long, I feel sick about it but my hair is in an updo 95% of my waking hours ๐Ÿค” Well, sometimes you gotta let your hair down and it needs to be ready to go!

Mollie King - Hair Down

Day 15 done
Awaiting a dreading fallout.
Ooops wrong thread
This isnโ€™t the July challenge

Oh.., no.., it was because I posted the same song twice

Oh, so you're a brat, huh?!
I guess so? I think she has me blocked so thereโ€™s no chance to even see what damage the fire did to the precarious foot bridge (shallow rock crossing?? Still completely torched and melted )
Iโ€™m still a brat. Old dog and all that

Honor code?

Day 16: A song with the word "hands"

Broderick Smith's Big Combo - My Father's Hands (Lucky To Be An Australian)

This will be as obscure as hell for anybody but Australians of a certain age, but it was all over the radio in 1981. The late Broderick Smith had a giant voice in the Australian music scene. He was best known as the lead singer of the Dingoes, who had a hit 'Way Out West' in 1973. This song comes across as a celebration of blue collar work and 'nation building' mixed with family nostalgia, but note the cheeky bridge:

Like the man who breathes in chemicals
Like the man who breathes in steam
Dream becomes reality
Reality becomes a dream
