Falling back in lust with your partner

Simple enough: long term couples (maybe married maybe not) who have grown comfortable with each other suddenly find one or both of them have become almost maddeningly attracted to each other again.

Like they’ve still had a sex life and they are in love but they’re comfortable with each other. Then something happens which flips the switch back to where one or both of them are looking at each other with fresh, lustful eyes.

Got the idea from a recent event: 4th of July was going to be crazy so I got high as fuck to mellow my self out. I usually only get high at night before I go to bed so I can sleep better and I don’t get the munchies. But for the holiday, I took it early…and oh my god one thing I was not prepared for was how much better food tastes when I’m baked.

So essentially this idea is similar: a couple has gotten used to each other but something happens which gets one of them to see a partner in a whole new way or better focus and appreciate what they already have

The triggering event could be that they have to go to a fancy event, and it's been so long since either of them has dressed up that one or the other of them had forgotten just how hot they find the other one when they're dressed to the nines. And then after a night of lust fueled passion, it doesn't die down.

Both are good ideas. Or maybe they take a cruise and visit a nude beach somewhere. After years of seeing your partner naked you get used to it and forget just how sexy and desirable they are. Until you see other people admiring them.
