I expect there'd be a number of finks who'd gladly rat on the culprit.

I taught 17 -20 year-olds for over 40 years; you'd be surprised at the words they use that they have no clue what they mean. "Billabong," for example, is a brand of clothing. "Oh, really, Sir; it's an Australian term for a natural pool? Who'd have thought that?"

I know exactly what you mean! Such vocabulary-poor persons would never be considered ikons of learning. :p :eek:
