Primary Abilities:
Charisma - Represents their connection to the divine and the power of their spells
Wisdom - Represents their understanding of the divine and the number of their spells
Constitution - For endurance needed to complete rituals

Armor Proficiencies: Light armor
Weapon Proficiencies: Simple weapons, whips, fans, staves

Core Concept
The divine consort is a vessel of celestial, or infernal, power. The bridge the sensual with the sacred and weave ecstasy into exaltation. Functionally, they're a hybrid support/enchanter class focused on buffs, debuffs, healing, and enthralling influence.

Sacred FlameThe Path of Passion (Pleasure & Fire)
  • Aura of Radiant Heat – Allies within 10 ft gain bonus fire damage and temporary HP when they engage enemies.
  • Searing Touch – Your healing spells can optionally deal radiant or fire damage to enemies within 5 ft of the target (e.g. a “pain is pleasure” moment).
  • Climax of Light (Channel Divinity) – Unleash a divine burst of radiant flame; enemies in a 30-ft cone must make CHA saves or be charmed and take radiant damage.
Velvet VeilThe Path of Illusion (Mystery & Control)
  • Glamour of the Flesh – Cast Disguise Self at will; also gain advantage on Deception and Persuasion.
  • Divine Submission – You may charm a target with a touch if they fail a Wisdom save, rendering them unable to attack you until harmed.
  • Ritual of Reverence (Channel Divinity) – Targets in a 15-ft radius must kneel or prostrate (DEX save or fall prone and become charmed).
Crimson ThornThe Path of Pain (Dominance & Dark Ecstasy)
  • Thorns of Delight – Enemies that strike you in melee take psychic damage and must make a Wisdom save or become Frightened or Enraptured (you choose).
  • Sanguine Bond – Sacrifice HP to empower a spell (double the effect or range).
  • Obedience is Bliss (Channel Divinity) – Force an enemy to take one action of your choice if they fail a Wisdom save (can’t be attack unless under a domination effect).

Class Features

Level 1: Channel of Desire

You can channel divine energy into moments of deep intimacy, awe, or emotional vulnerability. Once per long rest, you can:
  • Instantly calm a creature (as calm emotions)
  • Heal an ally for 1d6 per level through touch
  • Charm a creature (1 min, Wis save)
Level 2: Aura of Allure
Creatures within 5 ft of you must succeed a Wisdom saving throw at the start of their turn or suffer disadvantage on attacks not targeting you.

Level 5: Sacred Touch
Once per short rest, your touch can:
  • Remove a condition (charmed, frightened, paralyzed, or stunned)
  • Or cause a creature to become charmed (1 min, Wis save ends early)
Level 10: Ecstatic Revelation
When you or an ally scores a critical hit, or you reduce an enemy to 0 HP, you may grant:
  • A bonus action to an ally within 30 ft
  • Or allow an ally to heal 2d10 HP instantly
Level 15: Divine Ecstasy
You can enter a trance of spiritual rapture (1/min/day). For 1 minute:
  • You hover slightly, glowing
  • You can use a bonus action each turn to cast a cantrip or healing spell
  • Enemies must succeed a CHA save or be charmed and unable to attack you
Level 20: Avatar of Sacred Bliss
Once per long rest, become the perfect vessel of your divine patron:
  • Gain resistance to all damage
  • Cast mass suggestion, heal, or dominate person without a slot
  • Allies regain max HP when you cast any healing spell during this state
  • Lasts 1 minute

Playstyle

  • Supportive: Keeps allies inspired, healed, or buffed through divine energy and sensual focus.
  • Control: Uses enchantments, charms, and divine auras to manipulate the battlefield.
  • Face of the Party: Excels in roleplay, social encounters, persuasion, and influence.

Our DM is working on a game where you're classic rock musicians in space. The inspiration was a thought while he was high, "what if Ozzy Osbourne, but with space lasers?" Anyway, he wants to give it a whirl as a one-shot (or more likely a 2- or 3-shot). I've got dibs on Tom Petty.

A few months ago I was at a murder mystery fundraiser and got tapped to play one of the suspects. We have a new D&D campaign starting this week and I'm basing my character off of that suspect. A rakish, smut-peddling rogue/bard with a sordid past and complete lack of scruples named Izzy Sleezy. Should be a fun time.
