What’s your song?

Amazing how similar Robert Earl Keene’s “ Jesse with the long hair” and Bob Dylan’s “ Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts” sound.

I never noticed but it really does. I have tried to learn LR&J but my short term memory kinda sucks. Musta hit my head on something when I was young.

If you ever want to see a Dylan fan's head explode refer to Blood On The Tracks as Bob's "Jim Croce period".

<--- actually a huge Dylan fan but occasionally wears her little devil horns

Ouch, Jim Croce? Ok, I agree he did go through a phase there with BOT and Desire that were a change, but they were great. Jim Croce? 🖕😂

May go and see Bob for the first time in November. Is it worth it?

That’s a tough question. Hate to be ageist but I’m finding it harder and harder to listen to him as he gets older. His voice was never great but his music and performance made up for it. If it was me I probably wouldn’t.
