Le Tour is magical, crazy, mystical. Done 3 stages, various bits and also saw the team parade. It is like nothing else.

Yesterday i waited in the pouring rain for the race to pass... It was over in minutes, but that isn't the point. It's about the atmosphere - the whole town was celebrating. It is part of French life. So many different nationalities all in this weird bubble that moves from town to town.

Once it has passed it vanishes as if a dream.

It sounds like a mad fever dream, with lots of people sharing the exact same passion.

I only saw it back in 2022, when the Tour started in Copenhagen. And that was quite the experience, I can not explain it better than you just did.. it was a mad fever dream, full of happy people, lots of colours and even more merch being handed out to everyone that looked just slightly interested.

But.. it was so remarkable.. everyone was so cheerful! It was just one big happy group of people.. Travelling with the Tour. 🚴🏼‍♂️🚴🏻🚴🏻‍♀️

Standing out in the rain.. yesterday was pretty bad (at least up here). Please do not get ill. 🫖🍵

I remember the Denmark stages, i think the whole country was by the road. I was waiting in France for when it came there.

It is like a crazy dream. Vive le Tour.

I love the Tour! I'm a crazy American waking up at 3:30 am to watch it for three straight weeks. Me and my buddies even play our own little game where we pick different riders and try to see who can predict it the best. Today was painful for my picks and my consider "coquard" a four letter word from now on. So jealous you've gotten to be there. Someday.
 
Trying to figure out where I can get the money to cover the cost of repairs on my card so my family and I can get back to vermont
