Per your link: Israelis believe Hamas when it says it wants to wipe them out. October 7th proves their fears are justified.

Gazans believe Hamas when if tells them Israel wants to wipe them out. But before October 7th Israel left them alone. Hamas is lying about Israel’s intentions.

Your link only shows that Hamas lies about Israel, and Israelis take their threats seriously.
No. The link shows what people answered in a survey, nothing more or less than that. It shows both sides are entrenched in their own view point and cannot yield an inch.

Your knee jerk dismissal of any legitimate sources that show unpopular truths is telling though.

Yep, UN, the place that continues to employee the extreme anti semites, Francesca Albanese who claimed to be an international lawyer as a special rapporteur despite of her complete lack of any law degree?
The same body who ran UNWRA that helped poison the children of Gaza in their schools with text books that encourage martyrdom and killing of Jews?
I used to believe in the UN. I attended model UNs, interacted with UN representatives and one of the secretary generals years ago.
Unfortunately, the UN has become a farce.

Exactly! The IDF murdered an innocent family in revenge. They were not a military target.

No-one is defending the butchers that killed innocent people on October 7th. Why are you defending the butchers in the IDF?
Kidnapping the Bibas family was a war crime. The babies were strangled to death after months of being held hostage. When Israel finally negotiated the release of their bodies, the Gazans danced on their coffins before sending them back

A five-year-old being accidentally killed in combat is a tragedy, but what was done to Kfir and Ariel is an atrocity.

Forgive me, but I can't concede that point. The UN is the best we have. And also, you are conflating the term "anti semites" with "anyone at all the that will hold Israel to account for its madness." (Again)

That is awful. All the murders, the hostages, Hamas terrorism, it's awful.

She didn't die by accident. Have you listened to the emergency call she made? Did you see what the IDF did? What it covered up and denied? You and I live safely in the west. No one is controlling what we say, we have freedom of expression. Surely we can afford to take a step back and admit that the murder of Hind and her family was an absolute disgrace.

All of the death and destruction caused by the Palestinians since the movement started in the 60’s comes down to one simple thing: the refusal of the radical Muslims to accept an independent Jewish state in the Middle East.

Israel wants peace. It’s tried to negotiate peace for decades. Now they’ve decided that enough is enough. They’re going to smash the forces that want them dead. It’s up to the Arabs to surrender and stop the killing.

So let me get this straight. You actually think it's fine? Fine that they shot up the car with a five year old in it, because war?

No such thing as war crimes then?

And this is exactly the problem. All Palestinians are Hamas, yeah? Well I know they aren't. Just as I know all Israeli's aren't swivel eyed settlers. There is NO excuse for the ongoing war crimes and GENOCIDE.

And Hind Rajab is old news, right? Who cares, it was years ago. 700 people have been shot just trying to get food in the last few weeks. It is MADNESS.

Hamas shot the people trying to get food. And no it’s not good, but that’s hamas

Because it's impossible to discuss Judaism without it becoming political.

Didn’t Palestinian a Jewish Freedom movements against the start at the same time??

The Brits mismanaged a lot of spots around the world that are still in turmoil.

If Gandhi had lived??? Maybe there would be one less with nukes pointed at one another. Without Pakistan having the bomb maybe N Korea wouldn’t have it. Let’s go back and try that timeline

100 years ago there were parallel Arab and Jewish independence movements in Palestine. The Jews got Israel and the Arabs got Jordan (or Trans-Jordan as it was known at the time). That was the original two-state solution. But the Arabs wanted everything, so in 1948 they attacked.

I have been researching the life of Isaac Isaacs 1858 - 1948 an outstanding Australian Jew; Attorney General, Chief judge of the High (cf Supreme) Court and the first Australian Governor General. A brilliant lawyer and intellectual, fluent in 7 languages he was often described as difficult by his opponents; he was always respected by both his peers and by ordinary citizens who admired his determination to live in frugality like so many of the unemployed poor in the 1930's.

He was interesting in that he was an observant Jew who placed great emphasis on Jewish religious, cultural social and intellectual life, yet at the same time was strongly opposed to any territorial Zionism and spoke vigorously against the establishment of a Jewish state in the middle east, anticipating with remarkable astuteness the conflict it would engender. It begs the question in my mind: is it possible in 2025 to be a Jew yet not be a supporter of the Israeli State? I confess that I do not even begin to know the answer, but as US hegemony declines towards the middle and end of the 21st century will Israel survive as an independent entity or will it evolve into something else?

Before the Holocaust it was possible to be a principled antizionist. The Jews in Europe seemed to be thriving by pursuing a policy of assimilation and depending on the civility and kindness of the gentiles around them.

But Issacs was wrong. The recent surge in worldwide antisemitism demonstrates that Jews still need a safe haven in their ancestral homeland.

I think zionism and judaism are chalk and cheese.

Zionists are genocidal facists.
90% of modern Jews do support the state of Israel. The more hatred directed toward us by antisemites, the stronger our support for Israel becomes. Two years ago I never thought much about Israel, but now I feel the need to constantly defend it.

October 7th would have never happened if we had an actual president instead of a dementia patient with an insanely criminal family.
The mess that Russia dropped on the Ukraine would have been avoided as well.

If you support democrats you may as well tattoo a swastika on your forehead and then hide it with a hijab.
