Had a youngster suicide on the side of my car years ago... was very lucky I only needed a new side panel on the passenger side of the carFucking deer. I hates them.
Of course you didSomehow I managed to in 16k steps.
Sign of a good vacation...I'll have to go back to the job next week to rest up.
It's really hard for us to see our parents become infirm. I'm glad you and your mom have each other. Also, very glad she's taking the time to show you where things are. Finally had lunch w momma. She’s starting to worry about the procedure after keeping a stiff upper lip for the last couple of months. I didn’t think it was affecting me until we started going through some papers and she was showing me some hiding places of odds and ends.. To top it off, we went to visit my mother’s last living sibling (she was youngest of six) who’s in assisted living…but thinks he’s going to rise up like a Phoenix and go home. My cousin did gift me a bait casting rod&reel thereby saving me $100+…so, that was cool.
The heat, the emotional drain of coming to terms with momma’s situation, I took the afternoon off and watched Field of Dreams on Turner Classic. Seemed like a perfect movie. The scene where Doc “Moonlight” Graham crosses the line to save the little girl…gets me every time.
All my Tea Tree and Castile soaps came in flooding in from the U.S. Mail, so after some backyard casting w the new reel, I mixed up the potion (minus the 1% Hydro-Peroxide…Walgreens didn’t have it) I decimated the spider mite infestation. Hunkering down this a.m. to watch the F1 Austrian GP…Everyone havre a great Sunday.

I feel your pain.... my mom and I trip felt like a goodbye tour... it is scary.... thinking one day i will be an orphan
That's an... interesting... choice!I had a cheese and bread and butter pickle sandwich for breakfast... it was delicious
Girls are busy bees, indeed! I love the music you attached!Caught this nice moment outside this morning by our back patio.
Thought the cool music was a good backdrop too…
Good to see you here, NC!I thought I had as well, but I was wrong too!
We've just moved into visitor season, where several people want to stay with us becausewe are lovely people and they miss us
we live in a beautiful part of France with great weather!
Will be less visible for a few weeks, which will be a relief to many, but will pop in to make you groan when I can.
Hope you are all well/improving
Be careful in the hot weather!
Lovely sentiment, Boat! You'll NEVER BE an orphan... ones body will leave this plane, but the energy of their soul lasts FOREVER IMHO!
You have no idea the extent of my talents, G!Fabulous …. Such a talented Bar member ….is there nay end to them @Lilianna23
I mowed yesterday and pulled some weeds. There is no way I will get ahead of them, I fear. There might be some weed-n-feed in the garage; I need to look. But I think my gardens will have to be hand weeded. IDK if the WNF will kill my flowers.Feels like a slow groggy lazy day today! I have a few things I should do, but don't know if I'll feel like it.
Mowing and all of the pollen/junk in the yard tends to drag me down for a day or two. The weeds look so much better mowed, some of them will send shoots up a foot to 16" in a week. I'm going to weed and feed seriously when the old dog is gone. I was hesitant to do that with the dogs and when the kids were little. Everything I've read on that stuff says it's pretty safe. It's a synthetic plant growth hormone, and supposedly a naturally occurring substance in plants. So you eat some when you eat a salad...
But still, prefer not to let the kids or dogs get in contact with it. Although, I could mix up some spray and spot treat the bad areas. That however, required ambition.![]()
OMG, that's beautiful!https://64.media.tumblr.com/d5e854c0bcbdb73c61f8d398c91936dd/32c492cae2fc5659-8c/s1280x1920/b0480ffdbe4ec435e5854e6bdfd0acace2e116c8.jpg
Roadside wild geraniums are blooming.
Don't you just love when they show up volunteer? Beautiful, W!Just taking it easy today
Found these out by our fence line.
A few apricot colored Lilly’s. Wife or I don’t know how they got here… or the Shasta Daisy. But they’re here.
My beautiful smelling Japanese Lilly’s are not tho.
Sweet william
Shasta Daisy.
It always amazed me how some in leadership could spout the VMVs but did not practice them. You can't expect your staff to live them if you dont!Right? The feedback I keep getting, "You have very high standards."Uhm - that's a bad thing? I, for one, have read our organization's Vision, Mission, and Value statements.

You can ORDER them???Synonym: Cabana Boy
Mine must be on Back Order
It's not really a goal for me. I'm always really proud of myself if I reach or even approach 10K!You are, @Lilianna23 !!
If you want to match the 22k, you can... but work up slowly. I have no doubt you'll get there if that's your goal.
Thank you! It was a really fun process! I'm very pleased how it turned out.I wouldpay cold, hard cash for that in a store!!!
Gorgeous!!
I've been to the Museum of Glass. There is a hot shop with auditorium seating for visitors to watch the process. Outside the museum is the Chihuly Bridge. It's a free public art installment of his work.Same. I was enamored since I was a little girl, but saw a documentary on Chihuly years ago and that cinched it.
My husband loved ivy geraniums. We would buy pink and purple ones for hanging baskets.I've never seen geraniums that color before - only the red ones... typically in pots... on our front stoop... because, mom

Isn't Mother Nature grand? These are wildflowers.
We need a picture, please!I have magenta colored wild geraniums
You have to make sure they're of a size that will be accepted. I have to resize mine to 20 - 40% for them to post here.I hate posting pics... it is a pain in the ass
I've missed this, NC!What do you call bears with no ears?
B.
Why did the tomato blush?
Because it saw the salad dressing.
I went in to a pet shop. I said, “Can I buy a goldfish?” The guy said, “Do you want an aquarium?”
I said, “I don’t care what star sign it is.”
What’s brown and sticky?
A stick.
What’s a foot long and slippery?
A slipper.
Two gold fish are in a tank.
One looks at the other and says, “You know how to drive this thing?”
A guy goes into a lawyer’s office and asks the lawyer: “Excuse me, how much do you charge?”
The lawyer responds: “I charge £1,000 to answer three questions.”
“Bloody hell – That’s a bit expensive isn’t it?”
“Yes. What’s your third question?”
I poured root beer in a square glass.
Now I just have beer.
What’s the difference between an oral thermometer and a rectal thermometer?
The taste.
An atheist, a gym bunny and a vegan walk into a bar.
I know because they told me.
I told my friend 10 jokes to get him to laugh.
Sadly, no pun in 10 did.
I bought the world’s worst thesaurus yesterday.
Not only is it terrible, it’s terrible.
I post directly from my gallery. I always have to resize the photos to 20 - 40%. I click on the square box in the lower left corner that says "Attach files," choose "Photos & videos" under "Choose an action," navigate to my gallery, choose the photo, select done, then post and upload the photo. I select "Insert full image" to get the pic to post. Here's one of the cookies I baked today!I think you need to use either gif links (I can’t get them to post from my iPhone) or an external hosting site like Imgur or Imgur bb
https://imgbb.com/
Some people can still directly post images and i have no idea how to do that.
Very good!I actually got 7 hours of sleep so I was good for the day. Anything less than 7, I drag and need a nap.
Oh, yay! When will lessons commence?Probably.
I will share, and happily so.
