I’m going to pick up some trash on the way to the bus stop today because there were some premature Canada Day celebrations of my block this weekend (no biggie, just some random firework packaging debris and whatever).

I felt so silly the first few times I did that (pick up random trash) but it’s a great way to get in some extra steps and stretching (bending, reaching, whatever) before I’m on my butt for most of the day.

It’s early enough no one really sees me and if they do, well they probably think I’m a nut case but that’s ok

You are not a nut case, well if you are - you are the kind I would love to have in my neighbourhood!

The summer holidays have started here, and apparently my pretty darn amazing kids have decided, that they and I have to walk 6 km every day in the forest during this holiday, chit-chatting away and making sure that everything is right in our little world.

I'm thinking about moving my main residence and registration address to my fridge, somewhere between the milk and vegetable compartments. That's the coldest place.
At around 15 °C, I start wearing shorts on the bike. Now it's 34 °C. That's not nice any more.

I guess now would be a weird time to bring up that I just purchased chocolate covered potato chips in bulk so I can freeze them and eat them at my leisure.
