My other half has been suffering for five years or so and, hopefully, we will get some resolution next week when we see her new consultant!

She's much younger than me and life seems to be just so unfair in regard to her spinal problems!

I hope she can get some relief. Back pain is terrible. Mine came on suddenly for me and I was able to have surgery within 6 weeks. But that 6 weeks was hell -- I only left the house to go to doctor appointments.

It took about a year to really feel better, and two to feel like I was "back" to myself. Good luck with the new consultant.
