Tame those weasels, @Wat_TylerSleep weasels beckon.
They must be subdued . . . .
Saved by the (rain) spell...Urgh. I’m spent. Long day at work. Then dinner.
My buddy brought over five bags of grub killer. (Remember the goddam voles???)
Finished mowing the backyard just as the rain started.
Didnt get to mow the farm. Maybe tomorrow nite.
Night people.

Some of those on display were really cool looking trees! I hope to get to that level one day. Speaking of trees. Came home and my Chinese Elm has a spider mite infestationWow- that’s amazing! Great looking plant.
Now is this supposed to be the accompanying sauce for the Scottish Tablet? Some of those on display were really cool looking trees! I hope to get to that level one day. Speaking of trees. Came home and my Chinese Elm has a spider mite infestation. So digging deep into my bank of accumulated gardening knowledge I’ve developed and honed over 57 yrs, I went to check my library…the U-Toob!
.
Here’s what I found:
Here is the spider mite mixture (it was demonstrated on an infested plant…It works!) if anyone else has these critters…
2 Quart Sprayer filled with warm tap.
1/4 cup of Dr Woods Peppermint Castile soap
1/4 cup of Dr Woods Tea Trea soap
1 cup of 70% (very important…higher concentration isn’t good) of isopropyl alcohol
1 tablespoon of 1% (very important…the 3% is too concentrated) of hydrogen peroxide
Pump it up and spray away. The mixture dissolves the webs on contact. Cleans and protects from any returning critters that may come around, and kills the spiders almost instantaneously. Kills the eggs also.
Keep the plant away from direct sunlight for at least 24hrs till completely dry.
SWMBO is taking the youngest to the orthodonter today, so I’m going off to see my cute little massage therapist!
. Monthly maintenance to keep the chiropractor away!
Have a great Thursday. What my spider mite riddled Chinese elm aspires to be, CE MZ——

So it's like a game of "Whack-a-Weasel"...that sounds dirtier than intended...They keep popping up and they apparently have relatives
Hope you get some R&R on vacay to balance out all that work, @Wat_TylerUp, caffeinated, and hitting the showers. Two more days - gonna try to make it one and a half days - until vacay.
Here's wagering I'll work at least as hard Out West as I do Back East.
Lili says hey. She's been busy/engaged. She'll come back soon ish.
